I don't take notice of what he says as is a complete muppet.

That is a sad indictment on a champion of the club.

Roo's Boys Club approach to his mates and their lack of responsibility and accountability for the current off field management train-wreck has ruined the reputations of several champion ex-players of the club. Combine that with the inability of ex-club champions in the media to criticize the current management and you are left with a sour taste in your mouth as regards ex-champion players of the club.

Sad state of affairs.

This weeks media has followed the usual calculated script.

Tough talk on weekend and Monday morning.

By Tuesday the wheel starts to turn, the message softens. Was exactly that on MMM this morning, regular as a morning dump. So bloody obvious it’s patronising.

By tomorrow we will hear from coaches how we’ve been in excellent form (for halves) and we should back the boys in and the young blokes aren’t in form in SANFL anyway (cos Douglas can’t be out of the middle).

It’s a classic. I heard 2 minutes of Roo this morning:

“No forward line is playing really well, teams have got better at defending”

We sit 8th for points scored having played Gold Coast twice, so thats overstating our position by a fair margin.

Roo is full of shit.

They put more effort into dodging their way around disgruntled supporters than they do planning for the opposition.

Want to see just how conservative the Crows are relative to other sides? Here's how many players from Round 1, 2016 were still in a club's respective side last round

Fremantle - 3
GWS - 5
Gold Coast - 6
Carlton - 7
Collingwood - 7
Brisbane - 8
Hawthorn - 8
Melbourne - 8
Port Adelaide - 8
St Kilda - 8
Essendon - 9
Geelong - 9
Sydney - 9
West Coast - 9
Western Bulldogs - 9
North Melbourne - 10
Richmond - 11
Adelaide - 15

And 3 out of the bottom 5 have won the last 3 flags.

Spot the odd ones out (and Norf are a basket case).

I love my stats, and this is a brilliant one.

They do monitor Social Media so there’s no doubt they are aware. The management of Social Media was very interesting after the Showdown. Fagan tweeting, fluff pieces from their own media, Captain facing the media. They knew.

Interesting their media has gone stone cold after Friday. I suspect their Twitter account would have been smashed with irate fans. Laying low this week.

None of that seems to translate into any action though - but they do know that’s for sure

Who on here would smash the AFC Twitter feed :)

Players used this year...

32 - Geelong, Bulldogs
33 - Adelaide, Hawthorn
34 - Brisbane, Fremantle, GWS, Sydney, West Coast
35 - North
36 - Carlton, Collingwood, Essendon, Port
37 - Gold Coast
38 - Melbourne, Richmond. St. Kilda

Getting to a point where my dislike for this group is starting to outweigh my like for the jumper.

Sick of the sight of every single one of them.
I don't dislike the group, I dislike the 'we'll keep trying the same thing and hoping for different results' approach. It's not tex, eddie or even d-macs fault they keep getting picked, and I believe they are trying. It's just gotten to the point where they can no longer do what is required to win enough games. Therefore, it is time to give others a go and see if they do have what it takes. If not, then try to recruit/draft/trade new players that do etc.

Actually, I think the most likely change this week will be Fog for Tex (managed/injured). I also can see either Gibbs/Wilson coming in for Greenwood.

And we'd be sitting on 31 players used if we hadn't given single games to Davis and Stengle

Given the slim pickings our useless selectors give us this would be super exciting!!

I'd also be picking Stengle, Davis, Gallucci (5 games in key roles to see whether he should be traded) and one of Butts/Hamill.

Out: Greenwood, Walker, Murphy (to play HBF in SANFL), Knight, Mackay, Hartigan

Wilson to start v Cripps in middle...sink or swim!!
