great news for Paddy Wilson - absolutely deserves his chance being a standout all year for the SANFL team. But FFS crows, don't shunt him to a half forward flank!!

Stengle should add a bit of nip and Otten?? - they must have a specific player in mind they want him to mark

Probably Matthew Kennedy or Jack Silvagni. You guys probably don't rate either but both have been in good form and kicking multiple goals.

Casboult & McKay are both 200cm+.
I'm assuming Talia on McKay and Hartigan on Casboult.

Betts out is a good call, he's basically a non-entity unless we play the Suns now. Stengle shouldn't have been dropped in the first place. Wilson for Greenwood is a tick, Wilson has been dominating SANFL and his form should be rewarded. Sure, he may be a classic example of a state league star who doesn't quite have IT for AFL but we'll never know unless we play him, there is some chance he makes it.

As for Keath, why are they resting him in the first place? The fact Otten is in highlights how thin our tall defender depth is. It's just about bare bones with Doedee injured. Otten is a snail in treacle and will end in disaster. Silvagni has actually improved this year and Kennedy kicked 4 last week, either will tear him apart. Seymour may be raw but he still would've been a better option, at least he can run.

It's a big deal if he stays in next week for sure, but if we are actually resting Keath for a week then it's not.

It's why you keep senior guys around, plugging holes for a week.

It becomes a problem when you do what we do, we keep them in.

It is genuinely mistifying how Mackay is still there

I assume they sat around the table wondering how they could try to convince us they were serious and figured they'd drop Betts.

Otten is completely understandable, but we really really lack courage at the selection table.

Yes, Wilson starts on ball, Sloane up forward instead of Greenwood... then use Sloane in bursts on ball or off a wing.

Like most have said, he looks very good in training and the coaches are hoping he replicate it in the AFL (he does do it 1 in 100x for a certain period of time).

Seriously, I hate to say it, but for the good of their careers I feel like most of our draftees from the past 3 years should be on the phone to their agents to seek a way out of here.

Put money us for the bottom 4 next year, with our recent draftees who have barely had a look in and the slow, ageing plodders, the next couple of years could be painful.

I'm happy Wilson is getting a game but as others have said, he'll be out of position, so wasn't someone like Gallucci an obvious replacement especially since he brings what we lack????

And Otten ffs, there's no need for this 3 KPD + Kelly structure, especially against Carlton, should have just sent Milera down back again where he's had more impact, and then bring in someone like Jones.

Instantly quicker with a better structure, it's crazy how clueless our selectors are

Our list state is really starting to concern me. When you look at our selections and our emergencies we are falling off the cliff quickly with no light in sight. Nothing to get excited about and our list management should soon come under fire.
