I’m actually ok with the changes

Otten at least is flexible in an inflexible game plan
Keefy was looking out of sorts
Greenwood really has done SFA and while I love Eddie, he can’t get near it !

I’ll let myself out now
Yeah I'm not overly upset. I do hope Fog for Tex on Saturday is the call

The other 3 emergencies are a piss take surely

Totally agree

After the GC game I wanted Stengle left in the side for the rest of the year to play alongside Eddie.

It's obvious that Betts has struggled after Cameron left. Whether it's age catching up to him or the increased pressure on him without Cameron in the side is unknown, but by playing them both together would have answered a few questions about Eddie's future and also given Stengle the chance to learn from the master.

Another dumb move and missed opportunity from the idiots in charge.
For me the really stupid part of that was Hart publicly discussing how they were keen to explore how the forward would look and function with all of Betts, Murphy and Stengle in the lead up to the GC game and then writing it off straight afterwards

We’re actually going to lose this game, anyone watched Carlton lately? They’re actually pretty decent with Teague running the show now, don’t be fooled by the ladder.
Will probably stamp Pyke’s cards too, we need a broom right through the club (this has been said many times over the last decade) we all know it’ll never happen.

I bet you didn't see Betts dropped and Wilson in for his 2nd game though, Ottens is in because we are still in finals contention so we went for experience with Keath managed.

The changes are pointless if they're like for like.

Stengle will be dropped after a token appearance in order for Betts to come back, Wilson is another slow inside mid and does nothing to counter the lack of speed in our midfield and Otten is just laughable, clear thinking of a club who's loading up on an aged squad trying to desperately get one last finals series out of them.

I never thought I'd say this about the Crows, but this is 2 out of the last 3 games we've played that I've had no legitimate interest in. The only difference between this and the Suns game is that I probably won't even watch this one.

It’s the same old ****ing idiots melting.

They can’t be ****ed watching the SANFL, half the time they can’t be ****ed watching the AFL but they spend hours every week bitching and wingeing.

THE FACTS

1) Wilson and Otten have been our best players in the Twos this year by a country mile.

2) When was the last time that Andy Otten let us down playing as a defender over the last three seasons (as a second ruck/forward on the other hand...)

3) After losing Doedee for the season, Andy Otten is the only medium/tall defender who will not be smashed in the
AFL. I was pumping up BIG BUTTS before any of the ****wits screaming for his selection had even heard of him but has a single poster who WATCHES our Twos suggested he is ready to play?

4) I also jumped on board the Sholl and Hamill Train at the under 23 trial but they would be killed in the AFL, be patient. McPherson on the other hand could step up but pinged his hammy (again). Everyone wants to play Smith and Milera in the midfield but the only medium/small defender who could replace Mackay is Sam Tharaldsen.
So..... let’s move players around so we can feel better about the fact that Mackay is no longer in our team (Murphy to defence or the Seed or Fog, possibly Himmelberg).

5) McHenry is injured, Poholke is returning from injury, Jones needs a rest, Gallucci hasn’t been demanding a game, Fog hasn’t fired a shot all year, the only Kid who you could argue has been hard done by is Davis.

6) Jacobs, Douglas, Gibbs and Betts all in the Twos. Rather than complaining that we haven’t brought enough Kids into the team we should be complaining that we are stacking the Twos to stick it up the Bays.
You were going so well. Up until no. 6

Eddie & Greenwood were correctly dropped. They should have been joined by Atkins, Murphy & Mackay.

Not sure why Otten was picked to replace Keath (farewell game, perhaps??) Blues have only picked two tall forwards (McKay & Casboult). Talia & Hartigan can cover them and Kelly can play tall, so this was a good opportunity to blood Lachlan Sholl (who was one of our few good players vs. North Adelaide last weekend).

For those who may care, we are the 2nd oldest team this week - behind the Hawks.

I never mentioned names. Just curious, which of my points do you dispute?
Why didn't you answer any of my questions?

Are you happy with the pace of our side?

Are you comfortable with all of Talia, Otten, Hartigan & Kelly to give us offensive drive from the back half?

Do you wonder why Jones & Gooch lost form being bumped from the midfield so our passed it players could start losing us sanfl games?

Are you in anyway officially connected with AFC?

I never miss a Crows game. Always make plans around the time slots we have so i can watch live or be there and not even miss a minute

GC game: Went out for dinner. Taped it and didn't bother watching

Ess Game: Watched it, but missed the start

Melb game: Didn't see any of it bar the last 2 mins (lol)

That's a huge deal for me. The passion is fading and it saddens me. Maybe 2017 broke me more than i care to admit? I have never taken in so much footy media and time as i did in 2017. I have never ignored it as much from October 2017 and until the start of 2018 either ;)

Something has to give. It just gas to. Surely someone wakes the **** up to what's going on down there
