Note to anyone on this board with high blood pressure. Do not watch Pyke's presser. It's ****ing infuriating and perfectly sums us up.

Wilson is not the answer. He is not Afl standard and never will be. They are clasping at straws now. It's a sad state of affairs.
lets wait and see how he goes. Remeber ROB was derided in the same breath and i even had my doubts still after the 1st geelong game, but a clear run and now we see just how good he actually is. Maybe the same with Wilson?

What is the point of taking Keath over as the travelling emergency? If we want to "give him some recovery" why fly him interstate and back and subject him to the full pre-game warmup he'll need in case Lynch pings his calf again?

The thinking at West Lakes is not clear.

This is the most baffling decision to me (well, maybe on par with our call to play Otten who has no obvious match up)

Been nearly our best player this year. So either play him or rest him. Being managed and being on the emergency list is a steaming pile of shit

We're a slow team getting smashed the other way yet we somehow go slower? If Keath is truly injured just replace him with a runner - its better than the current alternative in playing Otten who can't move.

We can't replace Keath with a runner.

What if it worked?

He mentioned Roger Federer at 38 and Brent Harvey. Jesus christ. Heard it all now. Both players are 1 in a million and to use this as an example is mystifying.

Did he really use Roger Federer as an example?

**** me.

It's quite common in other sports like tennis for players to succeed well into their mid 30s. But the crucial fact is this isn't the case for AFL.

Those are the facts you need to be dealing with Pyke, you baboon

We have form in this area too

I wonder if we are taking advantage of the 4 man emergency list?

And that if we list Butts (or someone else) it triggers some sort of payment for them

Eddie could still have had an impact this season but needs to be used wisely. Not playing every game, not out of the goal square and standing underneath high balls. We've used him as dumbly as possible.

Unfortunately you could replace Eddie's name with any of our forwards and this post would still make sense.

To not be playing kids wholesale at this late stage points to an astronomical level of delusion as to what this squad is capable of this year, especially at 9-8.

'We sit a game inside the 8'

2nd oldest squad with an easy injury run.

We'll wait and see = no one goes to Cripps.

"Campo pleaded with me not to tag Cripps and he's our strategy coach so I followed his strong, experienced advice"

*a few days later*

P. Cripps - 47 touches, 32 clearances, 20 inside 50s, 7 goals

I'd like you to give me your opinion on why we folded in the third last week.
I'd like to know myself, if I knew I'd probably be the coach.

Teams are targeting our midfield no doubt, but they scored 76 points from our forward 50. We won clearances convincingly but we couldn't hold the ball in there.

That's the game.
