The rebuild excuse is becoming a joke. You can't rebuild when you re-sign Ballantyne, Mundy and continue to play Sandi, Johnson etc. They have Brayshaw and Cerra but I suspect Cerra will be running home at the end of the season.

Brander is not ready yet for AFL as we found out earlier in the season and also his form in the WAFL of late has just been so-so, so doesn't warrant a call up at this stage. What about Matt Allen as I understand he can play forward, mid or back so is versatile?

yes some very dubious decisions yesterday by the umps - there were a couple of occasions when they wanted obvious goals which had been kicked by us to be reviewed upstairs and blind Freddy could see they were definately goals. The cynic in me had to ask the question at one stage whether this game was being fixed as we were certainly not getting the obvious deserved frees at times. Of course they evened everything up by games end. It's not how many free kicks are paid, it is where and when. In saying that though Melbourne were definately the better side on the day.

I rekon Brander and Allen could over take Waterman next season or have a year like his. Think both have much greater upside but physically and aerobically no where close to Jake. Jake's injury interrupted 2016 was a blessing in disguise as it enables him to not only work on his tank but also on his frame. Next couple years will be very interesting for KPF spots.

No real surprise there. As late as last week he was doubtful for this week. Simply have to give him the next two weeks and hope he is ready for Week 1 of the finals.
