Invisible yet he he's still kicked as many goals...... C'mon Kane you're better than that
He kinda tallies up in junk time when the heat is off though. You need to see it in the heat more.

He’s like some sort of non-giving up junktime disposal chasing in the last quarter to get to 17 guy.

Remember there was actually those who thought him being signed on last year didn’t mean he would get games in front of all those youngsters coming through 😂
I truly hope this post gets the accolades it deserves. Sensational.

Could have easily played Hately. We didn't. We chose to pick him on the back of limited form then later decided that limited form wasn't good enough
Hately's pre-season form was awful, which is why he spent as long in the SANFL as he did. This week we did prefer Hately to Fogarty.

All in the last quarter of 1 game, except for another goal he was gifted.

He has had 11 of 12 rubbish quarters including the whole Freo game where he let his man run amok in defence.

Last week he was useless too.

You are kidding yourself if you think he hasn't been awful the last
3 weeks bar 1 quarter.

How many small forwards do GWS have? Macpherson can’t take all of them

After the last few weeks MacPherson can't take any of them, he is well and truly ready for a spell. Give Murph a go as a small defender, he hasn't been on fire in the forward line.

But now isn't the time to try different things as we are gunning for a finals spot.

Idiots.

No, he's a leading Fwd Bick's. He's been played either deep behind a minefield of immobile bigmen who can't mark, yet who have had midfield airballs as delivery,or a minefield of overenthusiastic smalls who don't know their role and flood back into the space waving their arms like porkchops. whenever there is a stoppage @ 80m out.

When he's had space and Div1 ammos delivery he's produced. Problem is, as soon as we go all airball again and our shitty structures collapse, its his head to be found on the chopping block first.
If we are going to treat him as a tall marking forward, then give him the whole treatment and don't expect instant results because we have to remember young KPFs take time to develop.
It’s more because we go three talls and we’ll probably try for deep entries for GWS. I too have hope for the future

Have you ever watched Brent Daniels closely or even Ian Hill, their smalls are a bigger danger to us than their talls for mine.

I don't rate Daniels at all TBH.

Hill is not a bad talent. He played well against us last year.

At least you've come up with a legitimate alternative. I always thought of him as a midfielder, but I haven't seen him play (other than the pre-season games this year, where the camera work was dodgy and the commentary worse). Do you think he's ready for AFL just yet? Was he a legitimate option for replacing Hamill/Brown this week, instead of Mackay?
That would depend if the coaching panel see him purely as midfielder given none of them have probably seen him play defence for Claremont.

Either way I don't think our current coaching panel are the complete mugs some on here seem to be suggesting, maybe valid last year and the year previous but hardly the case now.

For Hamill. Look at the line up.. too short
We have Butts & Murray as tall defenders, Kelly & Doedee as medium defenders, Mackay/Smith/McPherson as small defenders. How is that too short? The last thing we need is another 195cm behemoth.

It was too small last week, which is why Murray has replaced Hamill.

Worrell should be playing ahead of both Mackay & McPherson.

You clearly have never seen Worrell even play!

Also, GWS are playing 3x players over 1.95m... but let's continue playing Doedee on talls so he can't play the rebounding role...

Even leading forwards need to be able to find their own ball. They can't rely solely on being hit on the tit every time they lead at the ball. Fogarty doesn't appear to be capable of winning the ball for himself, either in the midfield or forward line.

Many gun misfielders start their career on a HBF.

They need a replacement for Brown. Worrall is not it. Neither is Borlase or Macasey or Murray. Jones is still being trialled as a back. There is literally no one else to replace him. This is why we kept Mackay on. We should be glad they had the presence of mind to keep him in reserve because we’d be f’ed otherwise.
Sorry but Dmac isn’t going to make a scrap of difference.
Why would form suddenly change now?
