So.. near on every single game so far this season hamill has had to come off and spent an extended time on the bench or in the rooms due to ankle injuries..

Again on Sunday he had issues but was sent back out there.. presumably because they didnt want to risk playing a clearly injured sub in lynch.. and he finally completely f’ed his ankle altogether and had to be assisted off cause he couldnt even put weight on it.

why the hell was this allowed to occur?.. it was clear weeks ago he had issues with his ankle(s).. but they continued playing him and now hes possibly gonna be out for an extended period..

that is disgusting player management no matter which way you look at it..

And further, if the reason he was sent out there on sunday after coming off with an ankle issue the first time is actually due to them not really wanting to play lynch (and I’d put my money on it that they never planned to play lynch given lynch wasnt even dressed for the occasion) then what a bunch of useless *******s..

Good young player injured worse due to an absolute incompetent debacle.
Hamill was absolutely flying before he did his ankle on the weekend so it's pretty obvious his ankle was in no way hamperinghim prior to the incident, can't help bad luck and something the coaches and fitness crew have no control over.

Yeah but it’s not just one session, it’s weeks of this. Nicks said so.

A session here and there for sore players, absolutely. But prolonged and that’s a huge conditioning and game plan issue.

This is a guy who's primary weapon was ground coverage. Totally useless playing under duress.

As above but umm also Lynch played 17% game time on Saturday.
All I'll say is it would be a very brave coach that would insist Tommy plays this week unless he's 110% ready to go after the fallout from the weekend.

I'm also not privvy to Lynch's GPS numbers like the coach and fitness crew

I get the impression that Lynch is doing the driving here, in time-honoured AFC tradition. You try telling Tommy he's not playing! ;)

Hmmm, double down stupid... or quit whilst they are behind.

Will tell us a lot about the mentality of our club.

It's funny because for most players, it's all about training form if they want to be selected.

Lynch is neither performing in games nor even getting out on the training track.

I suspect if we tell him he's not in the 23 for the GWS game, he will finally opt to rest rather than play two's.

This story has strong Sam Jacobs vibes

At the moment he is on target for his worst season for output since 2014.

Why are any out there then? Wouldn't it be good man management for them all to miss the session?
Geezus mate do you really need to take the contrary view on everything....They have all the GPS numbers and individual player workloads at their finger tips and no doubt the reports from the medicos and physios on how the players pulled up after the weekend to guide them.

Well, you aren't really going to get jab to play in the SANFL. Jacobs couldn't even bother playing in a Grand Final in the SANFL.

It's the same sense of entitlement. Need him gone from the club asap.

Or they're injured and playing under duress. There's a bit of evidence in that direction.

Not really, we use the SANFL to develop players, hence why we use top up players with the potential at being on the list such as Murphy, Matthews and Murray and as it should be so who cares about the SANFL and that's why senior players won't be fighting to play there if they don't have to such as trying to get back to the AFL.

See that's blatantly not true. Lynch's numbers are generally pretty even whether we win or.lose. he's neither as good as people think or as bad.
The Mackay Defense

Reckon they'll bring Hogan back hoping with him (195cm), Finlayson (196cm), Himmelberg (194cm) and Riccardi (195cm) they can stretch our defence that only has Butts (198cm), Kelly (190cm) and Doedee (187cm) in it. Worst comes to the worst they can isolate a guy like Himmelberg on a Brown or McPherson and also have Greene running havoc too with a weaker defender on him.
Sounds like a good week to bring 194cm Worrell in to replace Hamill in the defence.
