I actually thought Milera tonight wasn't that bad, whilst I do think he does deserve a spot in the two's it's hard to get blokes who use the footy as well as he does. He's a beautiful kick of the footy and very rarely misses a target and generally makes good decisions (when given space to do so)
I'd take 12 of his touches of Mackay's 20.

Pretty rough mentioning Mackay in the same sentence as Thommo. 72% TOG as a full time stoppage midfielder and he only just cracks double figures by picking up 2 late one's in the last couple of minutes. Deduct his 5 free kicks from his disposals and it's probably one of the worst games of football played by a full time mid in the last 20 years. Disgusting selection, disgusting performance and what's even worse is that he's a lock for next week. Now he's in, guess what? You can't drop Thommo, he's a warrior and he makes us better even when he can't run or get his hands on the ball. We got smashed in clearances which is why this liability was selected. But guaranteed, his name is penned in for at least a month whilst Greenwood gets to re-prove himself in the 2's.

I agree with everything you say and I even predicted him locking his spot in the side after this one, but I dont think even our selection panel could pull off such an outlandish move after that performance.

Or maybe we trot out the old "have to give him a decent run to get use to the pace of AFl" line.

You blokes have no idea, thommo is in for good now - especially after a win.

It took awhile for him to make the side, he won't be going out anytime soon.

Thats how we roll at the Good Ole AFC.
No chance Thommo plays next week or again for that matter.

I don't much want to pile on a club legend like Thommo, but his game tonight was almost certainly the worst game a Crows player has had all year. It was sad to watch and I'm actually a bit pissed at the selectors for doing that to him. There is simply no way he can keep his spot after that performance.
