Hopefully a new coach next year gives this club and its lazy players a wake up cal when there are not any gold pass's on the table, im sure say a Scott Burns looks at T Logan just as everybody else outside of the Port selection committee does. Bring on 2013, New coach, New beginning

Assume Phillips..............he took a screamer last week in the SANFL.

I'm not actually certain this is the case. It's easy to earmark Westhoff as a tall forward or tall defender but I think his best position is on a wing or HBF, similar to the role he played last week. Stewart has no variety to his game whatsoever.

It's difficult to know exactly what to do with Justin to get him to put together a consistent a season of footy. He DOES have it in him though, of this i have no doubt. Daniel Stewart, on the other hand, has no idea how to play football, which is unfortunately his chosen profession. Needs to gtfo immediately.

Why wouldnt Pfeiffer stay in? He is one of the few players on our list that is on the improve.

WAS on the improve, until the monkeys in the coaching box dropped him when he was in very good form and left spuds like Logan in the side playing the same position as him, then brought him back to play as a midfielder where he's pretty average after he'd shown very good form as a defender, which has now totally killed his once rapidly growing confidence and form. Should still be in the side though, we have plenty of bigger problems.

Exactly. Couldn't agree more. Darren has the attributes that suggest he can be a player for this club. Yes he makes the odd skill error, but he will fix that with time and confidence. A lot of upside IMO. Logan, however....

Yeah 99 for Port. Therefore if he plays this week or next his 100th for Port.....

The trade off, one game for potential father/sons.

He played a cracker last weekend - but it seems like the decision has already be made that his services aren't required next year.

Hey mate, welcome. Great first post. Most of us are pretty disappoint Sal isn't getting a chance to prove himself one last time, especially with the plethora of spuds in our team.

Yep, same here. There cannot be another explanation. It's a real shame - Sal was constantly improving this year (not to mention being horribly unlucky at Port). I hope he lands at another AFL club and absolutely dominates.
