Got a hook up with some tickets for this match and heading along with 3 mates. Does anyone have any tips for street parking near the ground and/or a close pub for a few jars? Don't mind a walk either. Looking forward to ruffling a few cats fans feathers with some lip.

Yeah, if you park in moorabool street in the city part, you just then keep walking up moorabool st to the stadium. In your GPS just put 'geelong dental group' and get and get a park there. (Live in geelong, so just ask if you need any advice)

You have the sporting globe, or you can goto lambys after the game, which most of the cats players goto

Just don't park too close to the ground and you'll be ok. I usually park a 5 minute walk away in the suburbs.
If you do park in the surrounding suburbs, park on the east side. Avoid LaTrobe terrace as much as you can.

And try avoid city as much as you can

Thanks mate. So anywhere on Moorabool street around the dental clinic?

Appreciate the help

Yup. Even little ryrie street. There is an undercover parking off that street. I'll let you know address tomorrow. Good place to park, espically if your going to pub after it as its in the city

First post. Always had a mixed hatred/respect/envy of the catters, especially after the '92 final.
Would be an absolute mammal win if we can pull it off after last weekends debacle.

I can't see how we don't bring Minson in this week. Granted, he's a ruckman and ruckman only, but he'll provide the physicality we need against the Cats, their bigger bodies just seem to bash us up every time. Toyd left forward, and Roughy swinging back.

Minson has to come in doesn't he?

Not sure Stringer sounds ready.

In: Minson, Hamling, Cordy and Dahl
Out: Morris, Jong, Red, Wallis.

Hamling out if String fit. Cordy out if Moz fit.

Don't understand the folks calling for Dunks omission He is def a player that can slip under the radar with our better known forwards garnishing most of the attention. I also think he could pinch hit in defence if required. His last 2 games have been quite good, so a big NO to dropping him.

Wallis and Red are obviously unavoidable Stringer and Dal should be ample replacement
Morris I'd take no risk with. Bring on the Zord, (his eventual successor).
And I'm sorry, but after one of the most appalling displays of half a game of footy I've seen in nearly 60 years, Lin Jong needs a spell. I know he tried hard in 2nd half, but as a finalist team we cannot allow players to fall to that level in any game. Hamling could act as the swingman Jong was trying to be.
And for a left fielder. Calls to tag Danger seem to be immediately calling for Picken to return to a previous life. Well for one, I'd be tagging Selwood not Patty. Selwood's trait is being a tough nut and a clearance specialist. Come on down Clay Smith. When Selwood goes into the centre bounces I want Clay in there too. He can match his toughness, he can get his own ball, and may just create havoc when we are in possession.

GO DOGS

I just got told this morning that Roarke is a chance to come in? But I haven't heard about him being upgraded so I guess that was false.
Patrick Keane announced it on twitter at or just after 5pm, before the 6.20 teams.
If he is upgraded (and then playing or an emergency) we'll know about it in just over an hour I suppose.
