Wow, the sentiment on this board is the polar opposite of the Crows last week, think you guys would give us a better run than last time but you may have one or two outs too many.

And I'm not convinced Stringer and to a lesser extent Dahlhaus will get up. What's the consensus here?

Is your coaching staff lulling us into a false sense of security? Saw us get pumped by Carlton and an understrength Sydney and thought "there's an idea"?

As bad as your backline looks on paper it won't matter if your midfield, which is still strong, gets on top. We struggle to transition the ball the length of the ground and our backline is suspect if we can't set up behind the ball, particularly against those medium forward types. Obviously your outs are big but I don't think they're from where the game will be won and lost.

I melted after the game, then grieved, then tried to come up with solutions with how we could adapt

Then that all went out the window when I saw teams and now I'm melting again


Seriously what's the point of an official injury list, half of our injuries lately have gone under the radar and not been upfated til weeks later like Campbell, Adams, Williams etc

Meh we were never going to win this game regardless of selection IMO.

Our only chance is if flaky Geelong turn up. Going on their last 25 yrs of arse rooting us - I doubt it.

I'm just hoping for no injuries and less than 5 goals.

St over yourself I've been behind the team all year and coz I know one bloke is a friggin spud I'm negative? And that's not negative it me being the only realistic bloke in this forum about the potato.

Go and sook somewhere else we have been brilliant this year but I think this is one punch too many for such a young list.

IMO we will lost the next two then have a 50/50 against the pies. That MAY mean we have lost four in a row going into bombers and anyone that thinks Freo at home in the last for Pavs last is an easy W is kidding themselves.

Worth noting that we lost some of our slower 5 players and have added in som pace. Geelong have Danger and Motlop but aren't the quickest team out there either, so will be interesting to see how we play.
