A blessing? On the basis that the coach prefers it?

Was it a blessing last year when Ryder and Marshall absolutely mauled English? They already smashed him earlier that year, but even that wasn't enough to convince the coach to change the ever successful English/Dunkley ruck combination.

English got smashed no less than 3 weeks ago by Tom Hickey, who comfortably beat him in every battle of strength across the ground. Does that mean it will cost us every week? No, but there is still very clearly a vulnerability in our team which can be exploited to great effect, especially in the finals where the physicality cranks up.

Martin might not be a gun anymore, but at the very least he's strong and aggressive; the type of player fit to compete in the ruck for most of the game. He would bring significantly more to the team than Ugle-Hagan does right now.

Basically I rate JUH a lot higher than you and think he can make a difference comes finals. Time will tell.
