The Richmond game was very even in the first half. They just kicked themselves out of it.I am telling Youse, forward line is a bigger problem than the defence.
It's putrid. As per gameday thread, it's all effort and talent based.
Even against Richmond it was getting picked apart. They were just too weak a lineup to exploit is properly.
I can't believe I'm saying this but even Brad Strata managed to coach a functioning forward line.
Was Clarkson out taking a wizz everytime they planned forward strategy at Hawthorn? They appeared to be pretty potent, would've thought he knew what a good attack looks like.

I especially like the ruckman and main forward can't take a pack mark which leaves you with a geriatric having to work overtime and 10 gamer down on confidence.Really, you think 4 KPFs and Xerri is too much of the same
No less so than the incumbents, we need them. You really think Goad, Goater , George and Mikunda deserves games ?. The other 3 yes
Worse than CCJ? Big callXerri is the worst tap ruck we have on the roster.
You cannot tell me that today's team was the best we could roll out. They are way to comfortable with getting close to good teams and seeing that as proof they are about to break out. Obvious changes are being avoided and some of the players we have that are simply not good enough keep getting exposed the minute the heat goes up.
Did Goater even play, if not why not i wonder? Must be soreness. Seems he' miles away if he didn't play.Wow wee. Where to start.
In: Goad, George, Goater, Harvey, Hardeman, Whitlock, Mikunda
B: Hardeman Comben Parker
HB: Blamires Dawson Harvey
C:Goater-Wardlaw-McKercher
HF: Curtis-Whitlock-Sheezel
F: George-Larkey-Duursma

The forward line is a complete mess as I have said on Twitter last week. It is too tall so drop Dawson and use either Darling or Trembath as pinchhit in the ruck for Xerri,.
Bring in Cooper or Banch. I would also drop JK. He is a complete spud. I don't even know why he was brought back in. I think it is a much better mix with Banch, Harvey and/or Spargo than JK and Dawson. Harvey plays high half fwd & leads up to the ball which is one of the large issues we have. Darling does it well but he's a tall marking high playing fwd.
Hardeman in for Blamires. The guy has a better kick, drive and much better defensively than milquetoast Blamires..albeit slightly different role.
That is about all to change as not much else can do.
It is completely frustrating. The forward line has no smarts.
Rested for the big day.Did Goater even play, if not why not i wonder? Must be soreness. Seems he' miles away if he didn't play.
Darling is smart, experienced and knows his game back to front so he'll always pop up and do some nice things, but lacks pace which is even worse when none of our talls are exceptionally quick anyway. But together that forward line is too slow and lacks pack marking ability aside from Trembath and Duursma floating in front. The forward line is a complete mess as I have said on Twitter last week. Wait his last game was 4 weeks ago against the Giants?Rested for the big day.
In.
Forward line is always congested. Three big forwards and they all run straight to the goal square. Why isn't there separation, with Trembath and Darling leading out to both sides. Who is our forward coach? The forward line is a complete mess as I have said on Twitter last week. It is too tall so drop Dawson and use either Darling or Trembath as pinchhit in the ruck for Xerri,.

Even when we were playing better its been a complete mess the past 3 weeks or so. I can only see this crap from my TV o surely they can from the damn ground.Forward line is always congested. But still different to the completely cooked collapses we’ve seen in the past.
