Gibbs, Greenwood and Gallucci no brainers. Found form last week and immediately make us a stronger side.

Including the Big Easy would give me a reason to drag my sorry butt to AO on Sunday.

Let’s hope these are 4 changes are not a tease.

So... what do you then do if you drop jj.. and Himmelberg barely gets a touch but jj kicks 8 in the seconds? (Although I don’t think our sanfl side play this weekend do they?)
Be unlikely he would kick 8 joe the goose goals in the SANFL. I would say if he scores 1 goal it would be an improvement on his efforts or lack thereof lately.

Our ball movement from defence is our biggest issue right now for me. Jenkins, Tex and Lynch were only ever so good because we sliced from D50 to F50 so easily and they could mark on a lead. Having stagnant players like Keath, Talia, Kelly and Hartigan is killing us.
Keath was included in the AFL team of week. While it could be easily called a fap fest, Keath has been far from stagnant

Wow. Those odds are very tempting. Feel the game will be a goal either way.

They wont bash us by 40+ but yes at the handicap with the potential weather, +29.5 is good value. I mean that means we have to win by 5 goals or Suns to not lose by 5goals or more.

If we're ready to commit to a rebuild, I'd be open to paying him out of his contract/attempting to trade either Tex or Lynch. Without a doubt, one would have to go, just depends on if we'd value what Tex could offer culturally to our side would be the deciding factor, seeing he is/was a decent leader when all is said, and done

Though, I'd be more tempted to cut Tex's contract if we were rebuilding. Costs us more, and Lynch being a model pro would be rather useful seeing that's a good trait for a veteran in a rebuilding side to have.
Can't see Tex being cut ... At least he's been given a reality check this year.

Why dont the softcocks just actually drop jj tonight instead of leaving it until tomorrow.
because they obviously want hm as one of 4 emergencies so afl rules have you naming a 26 man squad for a sunday game. only way anyone is listed as out is if they aren't even an emg

I agree +29.5 is tempting. But I can't shake the feeling that IF we win, IF we click in some way, it'll be 30+. I know that's optimistic in the current climate, but - just a feeling that makes me shy away from that bet.

Berg's naming is the Ecouragement Award. It'll be huge - and I will applaud - if he's picked ahead of JJ.

nah I think he's in. JJ is never named on the bench so can't see why they would now unless he is out. Having said that logic would then suggest that Himmelberg would have been named on field also.

Id expect we will find out via interviews/media release during the day tomorrow if JJ is out rather than waiting until the end of day official team releases.

Me neither, seeing we'd have to pay him out for somewhere in the vicinity of 1.1-1.3 million, but I wouldn't complain if it happened

My gut is Himmelberg is in as well. JJ trying to go onto the front foot selection wise may just have been pleading.

Wouldn't be surprised to see only two changes.

Greenwood and Gibbs in for Jones and Poholke
That's my take on it too sadly. Makes us a better side but it's not enough.

Not saying Keath hasn’t been good, he has. But he doesn’t move the ball on.. doesn’t go to the first option enough because he’s too scared to make the kick.

It's not his job to do that.

Yet there has been considerable feedback that the coaches are demanding the players try and slow down the ball movement and maintain possession, just not too slow .. o_O

Keath isn't a problem

Are my eyes playing tricks?
Andy Otten not named in the AFL or SANFL and not on the latest injury list?
Late update, they put him in the squad and took Myles out

Why not? He’s got a beautiful kick.
Just at the moment add him to the other 3 and it’s glacial ball movement.
He's a good kick sure but not an attacking one.
