Sylvia, Neale and either Ibbo or Silvagni in for Fyfe, Barlow and Dawson. Jeesh.

If we get up now, it will be epic.

I know I joked about morabito in and I don't think it'll happen but at this point, neale and hill to the mids, sherridan hb and Mora the sub?

Unless ibbo or clancee are fit enough the other option might be Clarke in and leave hannath up forward but I wouldn't be confident in it.

Out: Fyfe, Barlow
Like for like replacement are Neale, Ibbotson (with someone moving forward from the back flank).

Sylvia, Crozier are chances but I doubt they will come in.

Possible Hannath out for Clarke.

Possible Hannath out for Clarke.
And Dawson out.

Silvagni, Ibbotson and Neale I would think.

4 suspected changes IMO

Hannath -> Clarke
Dawson - > Silvangi/Ibbo/C Pearce
Fyfe -> Neale
Barlow -> Syliva/Ibbo/C Pearce

OUT: Fyfe, Dawson, Barlow
IN: Ibbo, SCOS, Neale

I would have Clarke in to help provide some additional mobility now. Out Hannath.

Silvagni is a no-brainier against their tall forward line.

Neale is clearly our next "in" for a midfielder. But if Ibbotson looks up for it perhaps Sutcliffe moves into the midfield rotation.

Sylvia and Morabitto to train with the main group and see how they are looking. If not this week, next week.

Crozier a possibility as sub with Sheridan inside the starting line-up.

Way too many changes.

And Dawson out.

Silvagni, Ibbotson and Neale I would think.

Round 2 Team - Bold players are injured\suspended

Backs: Dawson McPharlin Spurr
Half-backs:
D Pearce Johnson Duffield
Centres:
Sutcliffe Crowley Mundy
Half-forwards: Barlow
Mayne Fyfe
Forwards:
Ballantyne Pavlich Walters
Followers:
Sandilands Mzungu Hill
Interchange:
de Boer Sheridan Hannath Suban
Emergencies:
Clarke Ibbotson Neale

Hawks have a tall forward line, so we need someone to replace Dawson.

Possibility - Ibbotson replace Dawson and take Gunston. This would leave us extremly short in the back 6 so I would rather bring Silvagni in.

Fyfe swap with Neale - This is the easiest swap, Neale should be fresh and is a like for like swap.

Let de Boer run through the middle a bit more, move D Pearce onto the wing with Sutcliffe to the forward flank with Ibbotson coming into the back flank. He is too good to play WAFL.

Hannath swapped with Clarke, I believe he offers more.

We have been talking about our great depth all year, now we need to use it.

Round 3 team - Still looks very good.

Backs: Ibbotson McPharlin Spurr
Half-backs:
Johnson Silvagni Duffield
Centres:
D Pearce Crowley Mundy
Half-forwards:
Sutcliffe Mayne Hill
Forwards:
Ballantyne Pavlich Walters
Followers:
Sandilands Mzungu Neale
Interchange:
de Boer Sheridan Clarke Suban

Suban will not be sub, as he will be needed to play as an inside midfielder. I would prefer Sheridan to play the full game as he should be fresh after only playing a quarter, but I can not see another alternative to him.

Without Fyfe and Barlow we need another big mobile player
Clark in to replace Hannath who is just not mobile or quick enough
Ibbotson,Neale and Crosier in if Sylvia is not ready to go.
Crosier/Sylvia to alternate with Walters ,De Boer and Ballas through half forward and mid
Sutcliffe ,Mzungu,Suban and Hill to do the same of half back and wing
Ibbo to take Gunston. Crosier to sub. If Sylvia is available Neale to sub .Those running through the mid Mundy,Pearce,Sheridan,Hill,De Boer,Suban,Hill,Mzungu,Walters ,Ballas,Sylvia even Mayne for that extra quick big body mid
Anyway you mix and match we have the cattle to be right in it up to our eyeballs ,anywhere, anytime, anyplace:):thumbsu:

*sigh*

forgive me for not being a glass half-full kind of girl. the last time i felt this way was right before the collingwood game in PS - so maybe it's a good omen.

the footy gods hate us.

Out: Fyfe, Dawson, Barlow
In: Neale, Ibbo, Sylvia

Taking a page out of coulda's book, can Clarke play key back or man up v one of Hawthorn's talls?

Love Silvagni's mongrel, but he seems a bit too slow. If Silva does come in, I hope he has learned not to drop his head when he is being beaten consistently in a one-on-one (i.e. Tex in the semi v Adelaide). His poor body language could have only given Tex more confidence.

Because there are so many changes i would do as many like for likes where possible, which makes me prefer Silvagni to Ibbotson. In an ideal world for me it would be Morabitto and Sylvia for Fyfe and Barlow, but think Neale instead of Morabitto.

Silvagni has only just returned to the main group after rehab and on memory has only played the one full game
Ibbo has been back with the main group longer although I think has also only played the one full game
At this stage Ibbo would be in front to come in and would match up on Gunston better than Scos

I was the one advocating Clarke playing the Dusty Fletcher role in defence.

Everybody thought I was mad. Who's laughing now .... Mwuahahahahahahahahah ... err. ahem.

I'd have liked to see us try it in the preseason scratchies first. It's a bit of a baptism of fire throwing him against probably the best forward line in the AFL with no practise in that possy. For now I'd advocate Ibbo if fit, or Silvagni if he's not.

That leaves Johnson to cover Hale and McPharlin to cover Roughead.

If Obrien plays then we are one short, and he played last week.

How is Tanner Smith going?

Backs: Hodge Gibson Burgoyne
Half-backs: Suckling Cheney Birchall
Centres: Shiels Mitchell Hill
Half-forwards: Breust Roughead Smith
Forwards: Gunston Hale Rioli
Followers: McEvoy Langford Lewis
Interchange: Puopolo O’Brien Simpkin Duryea
Emergencies: Spangher Litherland Wanganeen
