all your half backs are dead, Impey, Day, CJ, Hardwick. Sucks because along with Frosty, that's how you generate your scores. Frostdog gotta have a big one

Oh, I'm sure Frost will generate a lot of scores.

I'm 90% sure Dimma and Day who are 2 of our better players in defense and in general. Might play like 5% chance of that most likely not, CJ did a knee and was one of our biggest runners, Impey ankle, Day and Dimma most likely out with Scrimshaw concussion that's all our class and run gone basically.

Gunston, Sicily been gone for a while.

Wingard gone too.

Should be a very big win for you.
You may very well be right. I still doubt 100 plus, we might get to a big lead and ease off. Anyway I guess we'll see.

We clearly play our best footy when the intensity is up and the opposition is stronger, so I still expect a bit of a slow slog on Saturday, but ****, we really should be winning this comfortably.

Too lazy to do it myself now but would love to know the percentage of minutes we’ve trailed v top 8 sides v minutes we’ve trailed v bottom sides this year.

100% time in front v the Cats and Dogs, v close to it v Freo, Port and Sydney. Brisbane the ones to make us sweat.

I'm beginning to think your some sort of reverse psychology troll sent over from the Hawthorn board to lull us into a false sense of security...
Hardly, i kinda wish it was that. We're missing the whole reason we were talked up after the bye and the whole reason we won against Sydney and GWS. It's set up with aerially structure behind the ball, good ball users, speed etc which sends us forward if they'd get it there which gives confidence to the midfield and more space for the forwards. All of the important players are all injured. 2 in the middle of our last game.

It’s not, you know regardless of the spurious and disconnected manner in which the AFL sometimes direct marquee events.

This reminds me of when I invented international day of cats - which I did entirely to promote our team leaving the office early on a Friday for the pub to celebrate. Without my knowing it, the sh*t got traction and HR person organised an agency-wide cake baking drive for charity to the RSPCA. It was super awkward coming up with the keynote speech for the Melbourne branch, eating brownies with little whisker faces and having to award spot prizes for photos printed on the cat appreciation board display

This sounds like an episode of the Office.

It's gonna be some kind of scene in here if Frosty keeps Ben Brown scoreless.
Probably best to rest Brown this week just to avoid that.

Does he even go to Brown or does he go to TMac?

Can't rest anyone as the Top 4 is still vulnerable if we drop these games v shit teams

Vandenberg looks due for a recall (21 touches, 10 tackles in VFL)

Hunt below average again
ANB?

In - Vandenberg, Lockhart
Out - Hunt, ANB

Frost actually has a good matchup into Brown. However he is also a dumb footballer so I can see him giving away 7 frees to Brown flopping around.

Brown will get handball-receives for his Joe-the-Goose goals from Frost.

Nah, scores aren't the be all and end all, if he builds off last week and plays a similar game I'll be fine with it.

1. Stop the frostism or I'm gonna get really mad 😡
2. It will be very interesting to see what happens with Frost. He is a great match-up for Brown, he is one of few defenders with the closing speed to get close enough to spoil the ball when he leads, he also has the tank to keep up with him and can easily just run off Brown when the hawks get the ball. Brown credits Frosty with preventing him from winning the 2019 coleman, think he kept him to a goal or two and then Jezza kicked like 10 to steal it. Hartigan is interesting though, he usually takes the big boys like Hawkins and does pretty well on them, problem is that we don't have a gorilla and there's no way Hartigan has the tank to go with Tmac. Basically, whoever gets Hartigan will play well and whoever gets Frosty will struggle as he's a great match-up for BBB and Tmac.
