The team fly's out Wednesday so anyone who played today will have a very short recovery time .I think with the injuries at Peel today Mzungu in for Smith and Hannath for Pav .

This could actually work well for us. The Pies are playing pretty tall & immobile at the moment

Yep. With Witts, Cox and Grundy, melbourne killed them with run. Gawn dominated in the ruck too soo their size didn't help them. And that's even without Cloke.

It should see some hard footy, Clarke did well as the main ruck, another game will help his confidence.

This is the game I want to see Clarke Shine , no more fragile knee . Time to gave him credit if he produce a good performance.

No thanks. Crozier has taken his spot in the team now and ever since the move to half back our team has looked a lot better. Barlow isn't taking up anyone else's spot right now.
Dead right crozier has taken ibbo's spot. RBT hinted strongly that Hannah would travel probably as replacement for smith. If they toying with resting Pav even though he is traveling to Melb I'd bring Langdon big game v soufs

Hannath didn't play for a reason yesterday and thats the short turnaround for the Peel boys.,he will come in and maybe Langdon will travel as the emergency.
Pav will play, maybe his last chance on the MCG and the bye next week gives him the chance to rest up.

Hannath in must be sad for you , but this is the match for your zacy Clarke to shine. Not expect him to had good game but smashing game.

Fixturing has really put Langdon's chances in jeopardy - he would be a shoe-in otherwise... perhaps being young he'll recover quickly from the 5 day turn around and still get a shot.

Collingwood are really beatable but have had the bye whereas we've only had a 6-day break. That Port game absolutely smashed us endurance-wise; it wasn't a coincidence that all our shots were fluffed from in the second half of the last quarter, the boys were absolutely spent trying to pull us over the line.

I still think if everyone's managed well we'll still be in a good spot to clinch victory.

Not the same, but, could they put him on a modified program this week with a lighter training load to get him up for the game? 5 days to recover should be alright providing he gets some rest during the week and isn't smashing it surely??

At this stage they aren't smashing it. Last weeks training was fairly light and with a 6 day turn around I'd expect it to be lighter.

Langdon will def. travel as the emergency so he can see his family and as a reward for his WAFL game I would think. If he recovers really well in those 5 days I would consider him as a late change but it is unlikely. The downside if Langdon would I assume miss getting another game for Peel to push his case. Have no idea though who else could in fairness be named as emergency given injuries.

I actually think we looked a little off the pace on the weekend compared to the previous 2 weeks, probably because the youngsters didn't have as big an impact. Langdon will definitely give us that extra run and carry which could prove the difference.

Introducing Hannath over Langdon gives one the impression the exact (literal) reverse would occur.

Very interesting over on the Collingwood board!

They all sound like we did at 0 - 10.

Forum on boycotting the game - seriously - and the white flag has been raised as to the result.

Out: Smith
In: Langdon

Go small in the fwd line and beat them with run like the Dees did, especially if they play both Witts and Grundy. Langdon deserves a game after smashing it for Peel. Also wouldn't mind Ueber getting a gig

Uber did his hammy in the WAFL so he won't be playing

Its going to be antartic cold during the match and most likely rain at times so i can see us playing all our smalls so we are mobile

Hehehe :) Clarke is good but Barlow is better so automatically I forgot about him.

Is Clarke good or are you gonna start calling him pea-heart again? Make up your mind.
