Roberton will be a great player - reads the play well, knows when to leave his man and worked well in traffic.

I love Spurr, but he had way to many howlers coming out of defence - reckon he might be omitted for it and will come back better

Suban just can't seem to hold down a spot and just bombs the ball when he gets it - will be omitted i reckon

When Sandi is right i'd love to see Kepla dropped and Sandi and Griff have a run together. Griff is doing heaps of work around the ground now compared to when he first came to us and they would be effective with 1 of them resting up forward IMO.

I get the impression that if Pearce got 40 possies, kicked 6 goals, fixed global warming and solved the euro debt crisis next week there would still be people calling for his head.

Must be his tats that put people of him - does it for me - can't stand swan, wouldn't want him in my side if he came for free - just not a good look and i can't see why people don't wake up to it and stop putting all this ink on them that is going to look crap when there 10-20kg heavier or wrinkly old skin...

For christs sake, Clancee Pearce was in our best half dozen again today and would be in our top 5 b and f right now. The guy rarely makes mistakes and always gives 100%, what more do people want??? Would drop 10 blokes or more before him! One of the most improved players in league in 2012

I think Ballantine needs a kick up the pants, just getting ahead of himself over the last month, very fumbly below the knees, goes to ground too easily and disposal has been sub par. I think he needs a spell in the WAFL.

He needs to find some boots that keep him on his feet he is embarrassing the amount of times he falls over when we have momentum and by the time he's up its to late...

I didn't get to see the game. Was he under pressure/taking too long to get rid of the ball that caused the errors? Just wondering as he did this a bit in his first few games.

Spurr seems to lack depth in his kicking, that his is only problem. Very courageous and doesnt mind taking the game on

Yep just couldn't hit targets coming out and they all really hurt us - pretty sure all resulted in a scoring shot...

I get the feeling you're the same age as Pearce and he bullied you in school. That's one of the few explanations I have as to why you continue to criticize one of our best players for the season. He is 'more up to it' then 85-90% of our list. It's starting to make this thread confusing because I don't know whether calls for Pearce to be dropped are sincere or attempts to mock you.

in the first quarter Sloane took what turned out to be an uncontested mark on Pearce when all he had to do was touch the ball. the result was a goal for the Crows. A couple of minutes later he missed a goal on the line when it hit him above the knee. When the game was tight at that stage he cost us 11 points.
Rarely makes mistakes?
His decision making is suspect.
Suban must be the first dropped on output, judging by today's game, but Pearce was definitely not good & should be dropped.
The way some posters go on about him it's as if he has discovered a cure for cancer, stopped all wars & should be Freo captain as well as Aussie cricket team captain

That is interesting because I get the impression that Dawson could get 2 kicks, 2 handballs, one mark, have 5 goals kicked on him and people would still be praising his spoiling and consider him vital to our back line.
