Yep the Papley one had me scratching my head. We really don't have anyone for these small quick types. Nick Watson would be eyeing our game off already.

Probably the reason he vanished in the 2nd half yesterday. Should've been concentrating on the task at hand.

I know I’m setting myself up for major disappointment here. However, if LDU is fine, I reckon we really are in a position to take a big step forward tomorrow. We’ve had a couple of unlucky losses and a draw in Marvel against the Swans. We are well overdue a win against them. Having said that, they are running red hot at the moment.

Let's hope they're a bit complacent. They looked that way last week. It was a very wishy-washy un Sydney like game.

Yes. But still kicked a lazy 131

For Clarko’s pre-game address tomorrow, he should channel Lt Aldo Raine (Brad Pit). 4 words is all that is needed.

“I want my Scalps.”

Just realised Sydney's onfield ownership of us goes right back to the Pagan days.

At the peak of our Carey days they upset us in 1995 and from then on have beaten us in many legitimate and less than legitimate ways ever since.

Thankfully we got them on the big day but no matter where we are on the ladder they usually knock us over.

They are to us as we are to Richmond.

Once we went to the SCG for home games, thats when it turned

Despite all the coming and goings at the selection table, it’s really can our game plan and mental temperament hold up to theirs over 4 QTRs.

If those assigned to tagging/negating roles win those contests, and we have a lift from the 16-23 ranked players up to 10%, we “might” be a chance.

In 2025 those early matches we were coming up against sides with a lot of their players injured. We went in thinking this we’ll be easy and got pantsed. Switch on lads from the first toss up.

Sigh
You made me go down this rabbit hole KC

So from Round 13 1990 through to Round 11 1994. We are 8 from 8. And not just 8 wins, these were proper beltings.
Average winning margin for us was 57 points lol

Then from round 15 1995 through to round 19 2025 we have met on 46 occasions.
The record is 11W and 34 losses. 1 Draw. 11 wins in 30 years. Its bad. Its very ****ing bad.

Only saving grace is finals are 2-2 with us getting the chocolates in 1996 and in Goodes last AFL game. That's all we have over them.
