Watched AFL All Access and think Petrie & Adams are both 50/50.

Don't be surprised if Greenwood and Pederson are kept fresh for
Sunday.

HF: Harvey Hansen Adams

C: Grigg Cotchin Deledio

- I expect Rance to play as a zone full back. Attempt to isolate Moore and Post as often as possible.
- Bastinac and Anthony to make Grigg and Deledio accountable
- Attempt to get Harvey on to Houli and expose him going the other way
- Wright to pick up Martin when he goes forward
- Grima to Reiwoldt. McMahon/Thompson to assist
- Atley to Nahas
- I expect Jackson to pick up Wells

And what are you basing that on? North's last 5 weeks? Obviously not.

Yes. At the start of the year I had North as a formidable side, and despite a slow start that's what they've shown in the last 5 weeks. At the start of the year I had the Tigers as a 10-12 side, and despite the last month I think they've shown they're better than that. I'm not accusing you of having an inflated opinion of North, I just think (whatever the margin this week) you're underestimating how far the Tigers have come.

who is going to cotchin ? doubt that ben10 has the pace to stay with him,i like sammy wright to deledio, basti to martin,

Was thinking the same thing.

Cotchin is almost untaggable, top player. Maybe back in Spitta to beat or match him 1 and 1, and use players like Basti, Cunners etc as offensive options instead rather than waste a tag (as per GaryJnr last week where they didn't tag Cotch and won)

Having a look at the sides, I can't see us winning now. North just have too much firepower and we are 2 out of our best 3 key defenders down (Grimes and Griffiths).

The midfield will be a good battle, both teams have players that can really hurt. Martin's a huge in both middle and forward, but too much will be left to Riewoldt, he'll be double and triple teamed and we probably won't have a plan B. We don't yet have the depth to cover some key outs, and North are probably better in this regard with the guys you have been able to bring in.

Cotchin and Deledio are the keys. Good luck to the North player who tries to tag Cotch, he's simply too good but the problem is too much will be left to him. Deledio on the other hand can be tagged out, so North would be wiser applying the hard tag to him. I hope they don't, because I have full confidence in Cotch to beat whoever goes to him.

Sadly, I reckon we are just another year away, and I reckon it will be North Melbourne by about 15 points, and that will be curtains on our season. We have improved a lot, but we are just a preseason and a CHB short of a finals side.

I hope you're right (regarding us winning) but you can never tell with footy and to be honest I am quite worried about this game. Richmond certainly have the quality to put us to the sword if we aren't switched on however, I'm expecting a spirited North outfit this week.

Agree.

However, it didn't matter last week and I can't see it being the difference this week.

Neither can I, too much will be left to too few for the Tiges and as a result I think you'll get up by a few goals. We are not without a chance but Im tipping with my head this week and have to go with North. Still expecting a pretty good game though. It wont be a blow out no matter who wins.

Can't get into a situation where we're trying to tag everyone. Cotchin is very hard to tag because he wins his own footy, the key is to ensure when he does win it the outside options are covered.

If Maric isn't 100% then Goldy will run him into the ground you would think.

To come out and knock off Carlton and Richmond after the heartbreak of the Eagles game would say a lot about the current group's character.

Just let Cotchin go, he'll dominate anyway. Head to head is the way I think.

Whereas if you can get to Brett Deledio early, there's every chance he'll be shut down and won't have a big impact.

Yeah Cotchin's too good to be tagged. I would let Basti run with him.

Ziebell would have been really handy to play on Martin. Wright to Deledio, and Cunnington to Martin.
