****in morons both of them. The bit where he said mackay had a great game almost made me spit my beer out
Too many knowledgeable people, ex coaches and current coaches saying Mackay played well to all be wrong ........have you tried actually watching a game, rather than watching the odd mistake a "scapegoat" player makes, overlooking the good

Have you actually watched Atkins game from Saturday? ........not good, but he's not a scapegoat

I have stated pre-season that Mackay was on thin ice and a week to week proposition .....at least i can watch players objectively without this hysteria that is baseless .......at some stage you'll have to admit you're wrong and the people who know 20 times what you do about the game are right

I think we've seen this year, despite inconsistency, that Atkins >>>>> Seedsman, Mackay, Douglas.

I think one of Mackay or Douglas should be dropped for Tex but with the selectors 'experience quota' and ROB debuting then I can't see it happening.

Well, I mean, it's common sense isn't it? :p It makes no sense to drop him given the obvious benefits he brings to the side, benefits non existent when talking about Mackay.
Plus quality kicking to pick apart zones which we have struggled with since he was at his best. Coincidence?

Good joke should tell that one to vader

The problem is I'm still disappointed after watching the game.
You're not actually watching ......you're playing spot the mistake & not with any equality

Try watching ....actually watch the 2nd qtr and then talk
Was there saw everything pretty clearly and have watched the replay. Was it the second when Parish pushed him over like a bundle of straw? Or was it in the second when he was hitting his team mates lace out after breaking the lines? maybe the 2nd when he chased down all those Dons players with his great leg speed?

Jokes on you if you keep posting the "cool" view which iam happy to support when the guy plays crap, like he did against Collingwood ......but i don't let that bias blur the reality of his performance in his next game like you and others, who can't be relied on for an accurate assessment of a players performance

I'm thinking a week ahead

If CEY comes in and plays well it doesn't matter because Thommo will be back in for him the week after regardless.

If Wigg plays well though then it might be D-Mac who makes way.

Thommo might get 2 weeks off. If it's Wigg, which it should be, and he puts 2 good ones together and both Mackay and Dougie continue in current form, then he'd be a genuine chance to hold his spot.

I've said a number of times that inexperienced players can only dislodge senior players whilst already in the 1's. It can't be done from the SANFL.

That is a correct statement
2goals is better than 2 points and dozen pointless possesions that put others continuosly under pressure. Its a joke that mackay is still in our team over milera, hampton, wigg, henderson etc.. When has he made a big impact on us winning a game in the last 2 years? Ask any other teams supporters what they would trade for him? Hes worth a burnt crumpet.

For a self acclaimed great judge of talent you really have missed the mark. Ive said before there is only room for one of seed, mackay and henderson in the 22. Out of those 3 i take seedsman. Hes the only one that can tackle.

Thing i love is you're criticising a player and saying replace him with players you've never actually seen live ....just off stats and hype ......so credibility meter is not bleeping too high on my scale

Be prepared to be disappointed ......for the 18th time this year

Whilst Mackay is highly likely to hold his spot, I doubt very much that Seed won't either. Both will almost certainly play. Bookmark it! (Bookmarked for Stiffy_18 )

So tell me ........is it Thommo out ..Tex in, as the only change outside ROB ?

Amazingly everyone goes to town on Mackay, showing their complete emotional bias ......but then all admit he'll get picked .....trying to scapegoat that poor decision (in your eyes) as the fault of coaching panel & footy veterans, to fail to see what you and others see :p:p:p ......do you actually know stupid that actually sounds

Try watching our games and look how mackay gets ragdolled every contest. Its ****ing obvious. The parish incident was an embarrasment. Ive got better things to do than argue how shit mackay is when 90% of this board agree with me. Have a nice night dont shit the bed again.

That's simply an idiotic statement ......that situation happens 30 times a game, that you only mention due to 1 in 30 having your scapegoat involved ........bet your one who always criticizes umpires as the reason we lost games :p ......it's fitting your profile of an inability to be objective about team and player

......that situation happens 30 times a game to Mackay

FTFY

to be fair, Mackay did lay one ripping tackle at the southern edge of the square that I remember, but not enough for a player of his experience

Ive actually seen them all live.
Of course you have ......hence the constant SANFL reviews comments .....pull the other one
