Tex wasn’t injured when he was ruled out. They publicly ruled him out until Hawthorn so he could get work into himself.
When he comes back earlier than scheduled, it’s because someone (probably him) has demanded it.
Smacks of panic, especially when you consider the complaints regarding the surface at Optus, the trip to Perth is hard enough as it is. If we were genuine about getting him right for the rest of the season, he’d not be back yet.
If you’re genuine about getting a player fit and injury free, you don’t rush him back and cart him off to Perth.
