I respect everyone who pulls on the jumper/buys a membership.

I also respect the fact that he busts his ass and has improved significantly.

I don't respect his tackle/contested possession/pressure act/goal assists/goal numbers. The rest of his game is elite.
So basically you are disappointed that he's not a Top 10 player in the league? Because if he met your expectations in those areas he'd basically be Dane Swan

Didn't he kick 14 goals in 5 games in his first year playing full time as a HF? That is some talent there.
He kicked 23 goals in his second year, which is more than Patchy has kicked in one season. That said Patch has had significantly more midfield impact in the high half forward role than Wright ever did and I do not want to denigrate him at all. Love the bloke.

Patch needs to be a little more hungry for goal. Seems that he only backs his talent (which isn't inadequate) when there is no other option.

Very team oriented is Patch.

I think the defence we went with against Freo and Sydney will be better suited to combat Geelong at their ground. Tippet to stay if Narni no good.

I don't mind Spud coming back in - rain is forcast for the morning of the game. He is a good option with a wet game and the ball on the ground.

Yep itll be congested and low scoring and Spud filling the whole infront of Hawkins will go along way to us winning the game. Better option than Wright and definitely better than Loose. Nothing against those boys as they are hardly saw it on the weekend.

Hardly... Just think when you're getting that much cheap ball, you need to hurt the opposition more.

End of.

I may need to re-read the MRP report but I think it will be 1 either way? Correct me if I'm wrong.

2 down to 1 with an early plea:

Based on the video evidence available and a medical report from the Fremantle Football Club, the incident was assessed as reckless conduct (two points), low impact (one point) and high contact (two points). This is a total of five activation points, resulting in a classification of a Level Two Offence, drawing 125 demerit points and a one-match sanction. He has an existing bad record of five matches suspended within the last two years, increasing the penalty by 30 per cent to 162.50 points and a one-match sanction. He also has 71.78 demerit points carried over within the last 12 months, increasing the penalty to 234.28 points and a two-match sanction. An early plea reduces the sanction by 25 per cent to 175.31 demerit points and a one-match sanction.

Best team in while.

So, our best team in a while includes SANFL player who has never played an AFL game, and leaves out someone who must be in the top 3 in the B&F at the moment (Gibbo)? Really?
