For the WAFL watchers, is there any reason we shouldn't consider Williams as the NN replacement to back up Hickey? Get games into the guy. I know he is raw but he is physically mature enough. Vardy is injured. I don't think anyone wants to see McInnes in (other than his sponsor), Allen doesn't seem a viable option against Gawn and Preuss. Brooksby is the other option of course but seems we don't want to play him and Williams is the future more so than him.

Can't help thinking we should have Rotham in as well instead of Cole but probably won't make unforced changes given the likely number of forced changes. Obviously Petch and Waterman are options for Cripps.

JK i think they will want to rest before finals and i would let him build his fitness up behind close doors without all the bash and crash he has received over the last 3 weeks.

Keegan is a decent option to try with Hickey. He is a big lad to who should use him frame to bully Gawn.

Pet looked fit in that WAFL game.

Waterman deserves a game also.

The problem is that when Nic is on the ball we win clearances which cuts the running volume of our mids. Instead of them having to track backwards they get to stream forward. One way running instead of two. The whe momentum of Friday rose and fell depending on whether Nic was on the ball or not.

People just like to stick with the old "No NicNat No Eagles" line.

He'll have a good rest.

He'll do all he can to get himself right.

The 3 games he played will make him even hungrier and I can picture him (and Crippa) coming back before or just after the rd23 bye and firing first week of the finals.

Yeah I agree. I know we should be looking for % boosters against Melbourne and Carlton but in reality I’d just take the 4 points with the guys we have out.. next 3 weeks we just need to scrap 3 wins, can’t drop any of them. Just need to keep piling up the wins like we did earlier in the year until we get guys back.

Collingwood and Geelong have a tougher run than WC. Pretty sure they play eachother in a couple weeks too.
