That gives ROB no ruck support against one of the two best rucks in the comp...?
Himmelberg out, Fog IN (not Jenkins, as you said).

Is Sauce ready, or play Hunter? You would expect there is a need to rest ROB against Gawn
The "?" and my reply suggested he had answered his own question, ie how to rest Himmelberg AND get Fog in the side? That gives ROB no ruck support against one of the two best rucks in the comp...

Zero chance I would play sauce over ROB. For two reasons, reason 1 ROB has been good enough that sauce should have to earn his spot back & also Sauce's first game in 6 plus weeks against one of the best is asking for trouble. The "?" and my reply suggested he had answered his own question, ie how to rest Himmelberg AND get Fog in the side?
You're right, though, it loses ROB's support.
My own IN for Himmelberg was JJ (as I posted). If Sauce is fit again, would you play him for ROB vs Dees?
No that may not work. It was also in considering Greenwood as a forward who can take a contested mark.?
Himmelberg out, Fog IN (not Jenkins, as you said).
I have more questions than answers. Berg has to come out for JJ and ideally FOG up front in preference to Jones.
But then it gets clouded
Gibbs back??
Knight, Gallucci??
If no Matt Crouch do we swing the Wilson card with Hugh to stay mostly forward/HF.
Mackay, McHenry, Stengle, Davis??
I Probably agree with that. Jones, Knight & Gooch to come out.I would say the ifs on coming in are
Crouch Lynch Mackay
If they are right to go all three will be picked and as much as this board hates it Mackay deserves a call up after his season so far more so than the recall of Seeds last week
f those three come in cant see any others beside maybe EH for JJ, but they could back EH
There is absolutely no way in hell that Pyke drops Tex.
When was last time Tex was dropped since Neil Craig ?
There are a few options for us to make changes but the trouble is we wont make too many in a given week. I would like to see Berg dropped and given his dual role that would mean we would bring in JJ. Another consideration for me is our lack of contested marking ability. The Fog brings some of that back so I would take the opportunity to rest the ïnjured Tex" an bring in the Fog. I also wanted to bring in Stengle but that would mean half our forward line would have changed so I dont think that will happen this week unless the Tex move isn't made which would ten mean Murphy out and Stengle in. Thats two changes.
Mrouch has to come back which means Joes will need to go back to the SANFL. I feel Knights will also go back which would allow us to bring in Gibbs. If Gibbs does come back it tells me that the reason for Gibbs being dropped in more about a private issue rather than a playing issue because he hasnt had the opportunity to prove himself in the 2's.
Thats four changes in one week and I know thats not going to happen.
If Tex were to be dropped It will be stated as injured otherwise I cant see him being dropped

Lynch yes but not convinced about Mackay. If Lynch were to come back it would make five changes and I dont think that will happen so perhaps if the Gibbs thing continues Lynch would replace Knights.lynch AND Mackay?

Again I dont think the Crows are out of the race for this year but they certainly need to improve. Making wholesale changes wont happen and unfortunately that might also mean players like Mchenry, Stengle, Adams and Fog may not get a go this year....which I think is disappointing. Its not like we are at the top of the ladder and unbeaten.
Id rather mchenry replace atkins on a wing... at least he’d lay some tackles.Stengle, Fog, McHenry they are players that we could use to reinvent our forward line and provide some X factor.
To go deep into September we are going to need something different to the team we are fielding at the moment, because we are not a threat to the Top 4-6 teams.

Right, so I first said these changes:
Out: Tex, Himmelburg, Knight, Murphy, Atkins
In: Fogarty, McHenry, Stengle, M.Crouch, Jenkins
Scratch Jenkins in and leave Tex in for one more chance, Hartigan to be second ruck.
McHenry hasn’t played for a month.. (good work crows) so Mackay probably deserves to be the in instead.
If Lynch is fit he comes for Kelly for mine.
Out: Himmelburg, Murphy, Atkins, Kelly, Knight
In: Fogarty, Lynch, M.Crouch, Stengle, Mackay
