I think crouch will be one week away from the radio interview on 5aa. Gibbs might be in .. but really turning him into a yoyo at this point. Mckay and lynch to play I think.

How about an ultra left field selection, replace The BERG with The HUNTER. Paul is an inferior forward to Himmelberg but a much better ruckman. He can take a contested mark but he only needs to bring the ball to the ground to match our other key forwards. He is fit and fresh.

I'm ok with that one never happening. Hunter has never struck me as anything more then a SANFL quality ruck.

Tex clearly has an issue with his head space. The sooner he goes back to the sanfl & dominates to get back his mojo, the better. Right now he is a liability. We lose nothing by playing Fog instead, at least for a patch of games like EH.

Similarly EH needs a break after a good run, so JJ should return & we keep some experience in our forward line.

Gallucci is a victim of players starting to get fit, which is a real shame as he was starting to figure shit out with that West Coast game (and really, I don't expect anymore then the occasional burst from a half forward, it's not a position that lends itself to any sorts of quarter to quarter consistency). Give him some midfield minutes in the reserves, and set him up for a block of games in the back half of the season when injuries start to rear their head again. I'm not a fan of this decision at all (as I'm firmly still on the Gooch train), but between Gooch, and Jones, I'm picking Jones right now.

Knights lost his spot to Murphy as a pressure forward, and is pretty much in the twilight zone of capable enough option when needed, but doesn't have a spot. Matt Crouch on the other-hand, has inside midfield well and truly locked up. Pretty straight forward swap.

We need a back up ruck/forward. Has The FOG ever rucked? How will he go against Gawn giving him an extra 15kg and 15 cm? Our best plan would be to give Gawn a free at every stoppages and stop him playing on.

Mackay isn't the problem. You know what you get from Dave. Never gonna be a star but has been doing enough this year. The real problem is the turnover merchants in the backline who can't kick to save themselves, our lack of pace through the mids and our forward line. Mackay ironically the least of our problems.

Recently? In the 4 games prior to WCE he’s had 10 goals, 3 goal assists and 28 score involvements.
