Sorry, early thread, but I want to see Gourdis. In fact we need to see him.
I would give Thursty a spell and although it's harsh, we simply can't rookie Goo again. We need to know whether he can cut it. Give him the last four games.
Get Morton out
he is rubbish
from what I can gather he isnt that interested in an AFL career anyway
prefers to hit up the beers at CQ bar in the city

In: Rance & Collins
Out: Nason & White/Hicks
Apart from mentioning Hicks, that's perfect. Rance has earnt it and Collins obviously comes straight back.
Nason is starting to struggle with the long season and should finish the year in the reserves, even though he's had a great season. White because I'm sick of seeing him get caught and just generally not be good enough for the AFL.
we need to keep on playing kids and giving them a taste of what is expected and an idea of how big the step up is.
RICHMOND could go into Sunday’s clash with Melbourne with no changes to the team that defeated Adelaide last week.
Tigers coach Damien Hardwick said while some players were pushing for selection, it was hard to find any vacancies in the team.
Dave Gourdis has played really well at Coburg again,” Hardwick said on Thursday.
David Gourdis (8 kicks, 19 handballs, 15 marks)
Top performance from him. Repelled many opposition attacking thrusts and set up a lot of our rebounds. Produced some exceptional chop-outs and intercept marks. His decision-making and disposal were much better in this game.
Ty Vickery (6 kicks, 5 handballs, 5 marks)
Alternated between the ruck and forward line. Took a good, contested mark and four uncontested grabs, but didn’t assert much influence apart from that. Needs more presence through work-rate around the ground.
Alex Rance (19 kicks, 16 handballs, 13 marks)
Played with good intensity throughout and was very influential in our win. Provided the team with some excellent chop-outs and spoils, as well as some strong rebound. Beat his direct opponent and gathered 35 possessions in a most impressive display.

I’d probably leave Hicks in for another game as it would be disheartening to get dropped first game. I think the few cameos he had showed polish but the problem is he is just another small and we already have so many of them.
Ahh...what? Our best small forwards have kicked 13 each. For Nason that's well under a goal a game and Collins will play further up the ground a fair bit. If there's anything we do need, it's a small forward! If we had the chance we'de give half our list for LeCras!
