Good to see Derpsten gets to come back in while Nyhuis is rewarded as an emergency for his Peel performance.

Man that one week in the seconds must of really helped Derpsten think about his complete 13 AFL stinkers before then. The spell must of fixed his vision and made his heart + brain triple in size.

What are the odds Sherro has a career best game and earns a new contract? I'd bet this is his one decent game for the season that he normally puts up towards the end.

Most of BF already get use to selection committee . Don't see the reason to melt .

Couldn't really play Nyhuis with Spurr out on reflection. Would make the backline way too inexperienced. Wouldn't have been surprised if he had played if Spurr was in (in place of Sherro, who I think will play back with Spurr out)
Ha, opposite conclusion to mine. You may be right re:experience but given our overall age profile I think the difference is negligible. Nyhuis or not we're still wildly inexperienced and it's not like winning games would be our number 1 focus right now. I dunno, hope he gets a run soon

Kersten or Taberner had to come in for the balance of the side. Let's get real here. Not happy that's all we've got to pick from but it is what it is.

Like many I was hoping to see Nyhuis in for Sheridan. Just a bit more of a like for like for Spurr and also would've just been good to give the young kid a go. The other three just had to come in given their ability (Hill and Blakely) and the outs (Kersten). Would've liked to have seen a fourth change even if Sheridan wasn't as hopeless as normal last week

People seem to be forgetting that a rebuild is as much about determining which players aren't worth keeping as those who are.

Changes are acceptable. I wouldn't have minded giving Taberner another go but it's hardly surprising he's not getting selected. There's also the stuff that we simple folk on here aren't privy to (shock horror, bigfooty posters are postulating at the best of times) that's undoubtedly playing a role in him staying at Peel.

Being reasonable isn't as fun as melting though.

You're all too kind - Sheridan deserves to be in the squad less than Taberner. Devo for Nyhuis.

Deluca could have come in for Hayden 'Ghost' Crozier

Holy shit. Tommy ******* Rixx eyewear Sheridan continues to get a game.

He is the spuddiest player on our list of spuds.

Hes deserved his spot with his form the last fortnight. Sheridan has done stuff all for about two years.
I'm joking as in Suban would be pleased he's not the team's whipping boy atm.

Hits too many targets?

Exactly. Clearly he isn't following the game plan of the slow loopy switch across the 50m arc or bombing it long and slow down the line to a massive pack of players.
