Crouch bros. and Grigg pushing for selection after strong performances. Reilly was good as well but I don't want him in (even though it's almost inevitable that he will be).

In: M. Crouch, Grigg, Hartigan, Wright
Out: Martin (we gave him a go and now we know for sure that he's no good), Rutten (been a club champion but he is finished), CEY, ???

Don't really want CEY dropped but I struggle to think who else goes out. Pods won't go as he is a favourite of our coach and I suspect Wright comes back in the side. Brad gets another week in the ressies.

In B.Crouch, M.Crouch, Hartigan, Wright

Out Martin, Lyons, CEY, Rutten

AFC979810 you were correct Jacobs should have stayed home and Smack could've rucked would of made no difference. Need some more class and ball through the middle which the crouch boys will provide. Brad is too good to play SANFL he can get fitness with the A team could play half back.

No idea why Rutten played thought Sando would have rested him for sure. Not a disaster today effort was there but must win Saturday night.

Could have rested Dangerfield, Jacobs and Rutten. Freshened up for the Kangas at home.

Instead we'll limp back from Subi even more battered and bruised than before.

Smith looked like he copped a nasty corkie too.

In:
McKernan - I think he's not up to it, but we have to give the Walker/Jenkins (NO ruck)/McKernan structure a crack at least for a couple of weeks (if Smack is no good after that then throw Otten forward and bring in another defender)

Grigg - touch of class

Matt Crouch - 150 less disposals than Freo suggests that we need players who can get the ball in their hands more frequently

Hartigan - should never have been dropped

Out:
Podsiadly - no more, pay out the contract and put him in the coaches box or something

Martin - Reilly-esque, worse, no more please

CEY - this is why I hate debutants as the sub...

Rutten - it's time

In: B Crouch, M Crouch, M Wright, Grigg

Out: Dangerfield, CEY, Cameron, Lyons

Kedge got a bath today but he's been good, let's see what he learns from it.
Martin, goodbye.
Talia, kiss of death during the week.

Out:
Jenkins for Smack
Martin for Grigg
CEY for Brad Crouch

no idea why we subbed Kerridge today. he was being comprehensively beaten, but we just had to sub off Jenkins, Sauce or Pods and release Kerridge to an attacking role.

As for changes;

Out: CEY
IN: Grigg

If we're dropping players on todays form, half the side would be out, I wouldn't know where to start. But I'd be reluctant to bring Crouch Snr back already. maybe as sub....but I'd still hesitate to do that.

edit: Also Truck could prob miss next week too.

Drop Martin forever
Bring in Brad Crouch, what have we got to lose?

Jenkins for Mckernen?

Jenkins was terrible today but that's been his only BAD game for the season. He had really improved his consistency until this yea.

Mckernen has about the same low output in the sanfl.

OUT
Martin - had a few games and hasn't cemented his spot and showed how poor he is against a top 4 team.
Lyons - 13 touches (4 kicks & 9 handballs) isnt going to keep him in the team with the Crouch brothers looming large.
Jenkins - AFC needs to make a statement to the talls who again were kept to 1 goal between the 3 of them.
CEY - unlucky he couldnt get a full game but rarely does a youngster get the green vest 2 weeks in a row.

IN
Wright - Im sure he wouldve been in the squad if it wasnt for a late concussion call.
Matt Crouch - Dominated in the SANFL and rightly deserves another run in the AFL, will be key at the stoppages especially considering Thompson seems to be unable to hurt teams with his touches.
McKernan - Doesn't deserve a spot based on SANFL form but Jenkins needs to be made an example of after a 1 mark & 4 possession game.
Reilly - Probably not a good move going forward but he will be selected for his 200th against North at home, I have no doubt he will put in a better showing than Martin down back (questions have to be raised as to why Martin was in that position from the beginning but thats for another thread)

I can't agree with dropping Jenkins for Smack. There's no doubt he was piss poor today but he's otherwise been a much improved player having a strong season and I don't think bringing in Smack will improve anything. If we were to drop a tall, then it should be Pods but we all know that's not going to happen.

dropping cameron?
bringing in mckernan?

this thread has everything. waiting for someone to say extend sando's contract and "keep trigg" next.

jerka had a shit game. he's earned another go next week to redeem himself.
bring in someone with a goddamn left foot. ie grigg and m crouch.
b crouch underdone, 1 more game in the 2s.

martin and CEY go out.

He has kicked 3 goals in 3 games. I agree smack will probably be equally as ineffective but he will compete better in the ruck and it give Jenkins a game in the SANFL to work on a few things.

Pods has been worse, but with lynch out it will looks unlikely. Otten could go forward with Hartigan to play as the 3rd tall in defence. I like that move but I doubt it will happen.

Bring in Crouches, Grigg and Hartigan
No shit given who we drop
