god **** no. I've been unlucky to have been near a rooting elephant corpse and yet i don't think that was pungent as this stuff.

Old Boy Stanley, what may I ask is that over yonder ?

Dear Dr Livingston that is a fine example of ................ Loxodonta Africana.

Whats that Stanley ?

That my friends full name is rather complexed.

Kingdom - Animalia
Phylum - Chordata
Class - Mammalia
Order - Proboscidea
Order - Elephantidae

Or as we simply call them, out here on the savanna ...... The Rooting Elephant.

A corpse you say ..... what a rotten end to a great past time, for the rooting elephant.

Hope you people are posting those reminders on the Cats board, to Gerard et al

Sent from my iPad using BigFooty.com

Be careful on the Cats board people. They are thin skinned, just lost a GF and don't like informed opinions nor being reminded how hypocritical they sound from one year to the next.

I was torn leading into the GF, two teams I don't particularly like. In the end it was a line ball decision who to support. It came down to how big a flogs the supporters of each team are. Geelong won the flog supporters award so I wasn't too unhappy Richmond rolled over the top in the 4th. Hardly watched the first 3 quarters, was drinking and BBQing.

Might have already been mentioned...I've heard that Elliot Yeo wants out of West Coast. Both him and his father are
annoyed at the club for trying to rush him back from his hip injury.

Collingwood could be a destination for him. There was talk of De Goey coming to the Eagles, but apparently he's staying.

Didn't we just decide to sit him out the entire season three weeks before finals to rest his groin and get it right?

How is that rushing him back?

I did a very similar thing. Flog factor plus the whole Kelly thing which I though they could have handled a lot better.
Only person at the party I was at supporting the Tigers. I loved it!

So if we get Sydney's 2nd rounder in the hickey trade hickey + 53 +58 for 24 ( values hickey at pick 45 ) .

Package up 24 + 33 for dogs 14 . Gives dogs 200+ extra points on the pick they would already lose .

The afl would then probably let us trade our 2021 first .

With 2021 picks being at a premium try get a player ( sharpe /powell ) from gold coast + their 26 and 36 which they apparently won't use for our future 1st .

Gonna be great watching the BODE's get screwed out of their draft picks to get Cameron

As much as its nice to see them having to pay through the nose for Cameron. They still get Cameron who makes them much more dangerous up forward whilst Hawkins is around .
Having ratagolea as third tall instead of second tall will make a big difference

You will need to play 3 genuine KPDs to counter that

True but it means they won't be able to re-stock their youth as well as they would have liked. Put it this way I'd much rather they have to give up something valuable for Cameron than get him for nothing. Plus they're all salty AF about it so it's great reading.

Midfield weeker - no Gaz and they were belted there by Tigers and others with him. Defence going backwards with harry out.

It should be all 3 firsts this year.

11 + 18 are worth 200 points less than our 14, 24, 33 last year. And obviously we gave our 2020 1st also (no need to calculate those points, as Geelong can pass that through).

GWS may want a future 1st instead of one of those, but the reality is Geelong set the bar/value last year and as such can't really cry foul when a high price is demanded for a quality player.

Cameron is worth every bit as much as TK was (and same situation now, uncontracted but not a free agent)

It's only fair

It's like the Kelly situation reversed for them, except that Cameron's not worth as much because he's already 28 next year lmao.
Plus the AFL is somehow involved because they favour GWS.

Ratagolea couldn't get a game this year.

I'm not sure where he fits but would assume he goes further down the pecking order.

Want a bet ? They can't see the irony at all. Even their mods, are unreasonable

Man just had a quick look over at the Geelong / Cameron thread.
They are a bunch of hypocritical campaigners too say the least.

apparently GWS are a “basket case” of a club and will be removed from the league with in 5 years. All for matching a RFA bid on one of their best players.
Man they have seriously short memories

I agree totally . I don't think Cameron is worth 950k a season and goes against Geelongs we don't over pay anyone policy .

They forked out that much so GWS won't match .

Geelong are now stuck overpaying and paying in draft picks .

I feel they still come out on top unfortunately.

Good, loving how pissed they are that GWS matched, of course they're going to. Apparently the AFLPA are going to get involved now to fight against an unfair system......that the AFLPA negotiated

Aflpa getting involved ?

Isn't their president Patrick dangerfield?

Old flogger dangerfield should be taking a step back due too conflict of interest

Good, as he's slightly older they can get a 200 point discount compared to TK. I.e. their 3 firsts this year (they can keep 19 if they want and chuck in 2021 1st, but that must be valued at 18 and no more as per what I can only assume (from last year) is Geelong policy...

Gws will kindly send a 3rd round pick back with Cameron.

On another note, I do wonder if GWS will come hard for Brander. Was part of their zone, they were very keen on him, lost a couple of KPP this year.

Sorry, probably phrased that confusingly. The AFLPA are not getting involved, some on the BODE board just think they should.
