You'd be damn unlucky to get it from a bus driver unless maybe you pay with cash & get change back, which no regular rider would do.
Not really he worked for 8 or so days so 1 person could catch it from paying cash the 1st day and then catch the bus the rest of the week touching handrails and buttons etc thats all it takes.

Unlikely, despite however bad the response in the US is.

Countries such as India and Indonesia are yet to see the full impact of this virus.

The total number of cases in India alone could potentially end up being higher than the entire population of the US.

Plus nobody knows what impact this pandemic will have upon the 26 million HIV-positive cases in Africa south of the Sahara.
Indonesia is in for a world of pain.
Their healthcare system is shot, 8 doctors already dead from corona virus. Medical staff wearing plastic raincoats in hospitals due to no ppe available.
Based on % dead compared to the rest of the world they could have 70,000 plus cases already, most undetected.
People are already collapsing on the street with respiratory issues & for any decent medical care it’s pay as you go. So most of the populace can’t afford to get the treatment they need. Also the fact that rich old Indonesians have already bought all the beds in any decent hospital leaving any one that actually needs a bed having to risk it in hospitals that don’t have the facilities to actually help.

The government won’t lockdown yet and most of the poor would ignore any such order anyway as they live hand to mouth and would starve if they can’t work for days on end. The rich only think about themselves. 100,000 test kits arrived yesterday from China, so in their wisdom they decide to test all 600 members of parliament first along with all of their family members instead of focussing on health care workers who are copping it big time.

Bali is another concern, still thousands of expats there with a lot them having flown in recently, no doubt a few of them with the virus. Any test done in Bali has to be sent to a lab in Jakarta for analysis. Turnaround for the results is about 1 week. Who knows what people get up to while waiting for the results to come back.

Sad to say but I reckon Indonesia could end up with one the highest death tolls in the world from this virus.

They are indeed :( They've got it all ... strong links to China, huge population density, poor sanitary conditions, shitty health care, a dodgy government,...

So why is Gil trying to hit the players with a 70-80% pay cut when all reports indicate the big man himself is only looking at a 20% cut? Surely he’d have more leverage in negotiations if he took a 70-80% hit to the hip pocket as well?
Yeah what a prick hey! He should lead by example.

I think Gil has done a very good job under unprecedented circumstances.

And let's not forget that unlike the players he won't only still be working, but be working more than He ever has. Dealing with sponsors, partners, clubs, local and federal government to make sure we still have a competition after all this.

The players demanded a share of revenue, but only when it seemed it was ever increasing. The top players in particular should be made aware that clubs really could fold here. The salary cap and list sizes could be drastically reduced if the competition comes out in poor shape. And the fans that they rely on for eyeballs and sales thay generate their income are going to be increasingly squeezed in a terribly difficult year. Now is not the time for grabbing as much of the pie as you can.

Players need to understand that there requirements are to remain fit. They don't need to do anything else! They have it easy unlike a lot of Aussies who are out of jobs.

However a pay cut of 80% would be pretty tough on some players .

A salary of 350k would mean a player would be reduced to 70k a year. If they have purchased an expensive house after thinking they would be financially secure, you could see why they would be opposing.

Maybe they can look at reducing all salaries to a pre determined amount. That way players like Dustin Martin and players like Thiccy can be on the same. It would make sense, seeing that both would be restricted to home based activities, essentially doing the same thing!

We used to be about 3-4 litres - really coffee mostly. But the wife bought a Ninja blender a couple of weeks ago and the 15 year old has discovered a whole range of new ways to waste milk...
I’m 25 and mum has hid the blender from me.

That said I’m off milk now.

I thought this agreement is just for next 2 months? If everything goes to plan then they will paid as normal again from June onwards
