What cricket bats does everyone use? I bought a Gray Nicolls Powerbow 350 for $60- was that good?
Im assuming you're a youngster. TBH I don't know what a Powerbow is as I haven't been in the market for a few years but anyone playing anything higher than U14s will need a bat that costs more than $60. For a junior it should be fine.

I have a Grey Nicolls Fusion from a few years ago. Pretty good bat, has a pretty crappy toe but the rest of it is top notch. Carbon fibre handle may not suit everyone but I liked it. Was pricey though, around $650 I think.

Good luck with the rest of your season.

I had this Puma Stealth 5000 which was the best bat I have had. Sadly I let a mate use it and he broke it. I have a shitty Gray Nicolls Nitro these days and it just sucks. Getting a new bat next summer.

I am a junior yes :)
It's more a bat for the nets as I'm not playing competitively ATM, but I need to get my technique right against proper cricket balls and my Slazenger V900 (which was visibly getting marked when a cricket ball hit it) wasn't cutting it. I am however looking to play indoor cricket and club cricket next season, and I'm sure the bat will last till the new season.

Got my Grey Nichols Powerbow 1000 for 200 or so off someone I knew, was worth somewhere between 450-500 new but he didnt like it much. Love it, although not playing cricket this year. Got it fixed up a bit by the equipment guy at the club. Will last me years.

Got a Slazenger V1, picked it up the beginning of the year 30% off at a one day sale, massive weight difference compared to my old beast but now after about a year it is playing beautifully atm, really hits the ball well

Had to change as my old one was too heavy and I wasnt hitting the straight drives very well so wanted something better for playing cross bat and targeting fine leg-mid wicket, incredibly light and has a high middle so perfect for it

Yep got it as well! Love the handle, have two grips on it though. Huge middle, and I love it because it hits well through the ball, good for driving, which is my main scoring ability. Just gotta get anything on it, and it races :thumbsu::D

I play cricket with a Pakistani doctor. He brought this Ihsan Stratus bat back from Pakistan a couple of seasons ago. He got a new bat and handed it down to a mate of mine.

Had a hit with it in the nets today. Much lighter than the Powerbow I use. Felt like I was batting with a plank of plywood.

I use a CA (one of those Pakistani bats). Ripper. Lots of wood on it but it picks up light.

Will definitely get another one when this one is done.

A bit off topic as I am retired.......

But I had an SS Jumbo(Viv Richards special)and was given a Gray-Nicolls scoop which my sister decided to use as a hammer to put a nail on her wall ...
Also had a County and a Slazenger V100...

Some of the older guys will remember the old SS Jumbos.....was too heavy for me as a kid but I wanted to be like Sir Viv haha
