The final T20 world cup qualifying tournament for the 2 African spots is happening now.

Namibia sealed qualification yesterday. But Zimbabwe look likely to miss out after losing to Namibia (Not a big upset, or even a real upset at all) and Uganda (big upset).

Uganda probably just need to defeat Kenya (Who still have Collins Obuya from their 2003 semi-final run) to guarantee qualification

Maxwell does it again. He is a freak. Wish he wasn't so hot and cold.
I don't think he's any more hot and cold than other players, it just seems so due to how he plays. Out for 0 trying to hit the first ball for six looks bad, but isn't any worse than a lot of other failures

Uganda have almost definitely qualified, unless they slip up against Rwanda (by far the worst team in this qualifying round) in the last game. No idea what the quality of their cricket is like, but the scorecards have been pretty definitive. Looking for

I'm not a fan of regional qualification*, but it's clearly Zimbabwe's own fault if they miss. It's probably fair to call Zimbabwe massive underachievers at this point. Their team on paper is very competitive with the other full members, and "looks" adequate to the eye, but they've had pretty much zero success since their return to the fold a few years back.

* Canada and PNG being basically guaranteed spots is a big negative to me.

The Pome vitriol, including false claims of not paying for a non-existent haircut was over the top.

Hopefully Carey gets back to his old self this Summer.

Seriously, **** off ACA

Couldn't drop Carey quick enough for Inglis in the World Cup.

Don't lecture us about backing him in, when you continue to treat our best keeper like dog shit

The ACA is the players union. They would've had little, if any, say on selections.

What?

He got dropped in shirt form for a more destructive batsman. No one has treated him like s**t.
100% correct. His form dropped off badly towards the end of the ashes. As did some of the others. Had a poor series against SA. Inglis is a better batsman. Wade was captain of the T20 side.

The Strikers were 2 for 95 at the same stage, our tail let us down.
We didn't even get to the tail. Our middle-order just couldn't get going at all, even 10 more could've been enough.

The Strikers Women are throwing away the final badly. After last year, normal service of SA teams choking has resumed.
Your Honour, I'd like to retract that statement.
