I heard that , "I think it's Cleveland", have cut Bogut after he broke his leg 56 second into his first game for them.
Would be good to see that kind of ruthlessly efficient list management come into the AFL some day.

That isn't ruthless really. They cut him so they can get an injury replacement. When he recovers, put him back on. They do not have a long term injury list as far as I am aware.

So we found out today what the 'gift' is that will be left for us before the first game. For those who have been advocating for some crowd participation ala towel waving, it seems you are getting your way.

A yellow rally towel will be given out at the game. We should see something like this at games for us this season.

Cringeworthy

Sounded ruthless the way they put it on the radio.
You'd think Bogut is about done though, getting on a bit and a broken leg for a big dude would not be good.

Not recovering well, and not getting back on the list must be a real possibility.

I wonder if Kern was a bit less chirpy this year at that Advertiser launch.

Last year he was comfortable and offering Pyke some advice in a bit of a good natured yet condescending manner. It was as if Kern was a multiple Premiership winning coach passing in his wisdom to Pyke.

That is one thing I like about Pyke and his low key approach to the media. His results, which really amount to nothing right now, speak for him.

Not catch cries and faux fatherly advice

Ken and Travis both look very tired.

Pic from The Advertiser / Sunday Mail season launch.
From the expressions I'm guessing Michelangelo just asked one of his pertinent questions...

Hope it resembles more like the Steelers Terrible Towel

Would definitely be a unique entrance with 50,000 people waving their towels as the team runs onto Adelaide Oval. Just hope people a) know when to it and b) actually do it. But it needs to happen organically, not have it forced down our throats like the cringeworthy methods from the Trigg era.

No blowing my nose then?

Or.

That clip was great but I agree, if it's a countdown or something on the screen, it could get ugly.

One thing that continues to irk me is why do we constantly have Geelong at Skilled pretty much every year ?

From my count this year will be 20 times out of 27 seasons that we have been scheduled to play there, I haven't checked other sides but you'd be hard pressed to find another team that would even come close to the regularity that we seem to be sent out there.

Considering that Carlton have only ever played against Adelaide in Adelaide 11 times in 27 seasons, it's anything but a fair draw.
You can guarantee we will continue to get the Cats at skilled whilst Dangerfield is still playing...
