They just announced a crowd of 35,000. That’s absolute bullshit. There is no way there was that many in here at any point in time tonight.

AFL always overstates the crowds by a lot. If you were going purely by official attendance figures, you'd assume GWS were a well supported club with impressive home crowds. It's complete bullshit. I think it's the only sport that outright lies about the crowds.

What we are seeing is so poor it is unexplainable

Not really. We are play8ng McLean who has never been very good as our only tall forward that’s a forward and he’s rubbish. We are playing Hayward who’s not bad but spends a lot of time trying to cover exits. We have Corey, Cleary, Adam’s, all playing forward none of whom are forwards.

We have midfielders like sheldrick who literally just blaze away and we’ve got other kids who are finished.

The team is out and out rubbish and so lacking in confidence that most of them don’t want the ball.

The first time I've left a game at half time. The umpires made clear who was going to win in the first quarter, you need to be 20% better than the opposition to win with that umpiring and we're 20% worse so what's the point of the other three quarters? Apparently the players agreed with that assesment at quarter time and served up that rubbish. Now the AFL has a problem because I'm a decade+ member and am just jack of it, so are our players and that can start a death spiral. As we're constantly reminded this isn't a footy state, I can spend my time and money on other things and if the foreseeable future is just floggings with two sets of rules applied off I go. Head office won't remove their vic-centric heads out of their arses long enough to even entertain the fact that there might a problem let alone try to address it. (And yes, I'm aware we also suck).
