Why the **** does Milera need to apologise? I would like some refreshing honesty from our players . He said nothing wrong, nothing offensive , nothing rude, he answered a question !!

We accepted the apology? we should have said not needed and got the **** over it

It wouldn’t surprise me if we beat Richmond. We’ll feel like we have something to prove and Tigers are pretty bad themselves. Feels like a winnable game even in our current travails.
It would be the Sydney thing to do. Beat Richmond.

The Sydney Swans’ performance against the Adelaide Crows last night was widely regarded as one of their most disheartening in recent memory. Suffering a 90-point defeat at home—21.5 (131) to 5.11 (41)—this marked their worst loss at the SCG since 2000. The timing was particularly unfortunate, coinciding with the celebration of the 20th anniversary of their 2005 premiership, attended by club legends like Adam Goodes and Barry Hall .

The Swans’ attitude and on-field demeanor drew significant criticism. They conceded 12 unanswered goals, and their defensive efforts appeared disorganized and lacking intensity

I'm sorry
No need to be. It's all cool. TBF the series should have already been over. That series wasn't as good as the Boston/NYK series and the WC finals were underwhelming too. Was hoping Ant elevated his game, but hey.
OKC will win the finals in 5 though.

Media- Players never give us anything

Player gives an answer then Media- "oh you can't say that "
I don't think it would've been a story if Jay Clark's johnson didn't perk up at the prospect of getting to sink the boot in to the Swans. (He absolutely hates us - my best mate worked with him and he bagged the Swans constantly.) No one would've paid attention to Milera's comments otherwise, because anyone watching the game wouldn't have been shocked enough by Milera's comments to care.

He was terrible

Everyone was terrible, but Jordon maybe slightly less so than some others. I remember at least two or maybe even 3 times he burst away with the ball and/or got us going forward with a solid kick. He rarely touched the ball but was our cleanest player when he did.

Then again, I probably missed some mistakes. I wasn't paying that much attention in the second half.

“On the rare occasion he got the ball”.

Says it all.

Stop the tagging stuff for a while. His best game was his one against Freo where he played as a genuine ball winning mid.

Watching other sides what's obvious is our complete unwillingness or inability to move the ball using hands. Other sides against us walk from one end of the field to the other with just handballs.
We seldom try, almost never give to the runner going past and when we do we are so devoid of skill we can't hit simple handballs to make it work, everything missing at teammates feet or missing by a metre or simply just behind the player making them top.
Infact probably half the reason we slip over so much, we have to suddenly stop, twist and turn so much looking for junk balls that missed their mark.

????

The Freo game was arguably his hardest tag of the year against Serong...

Got it 24 times that’s what he should be doing not 10-16, let him get the pill the tagging whatever he’ll defend naturally. Play him As an offensive mid.

Jake Lloyd stopping the play for 2minutes to bomb it long is the worst culprit

Every time he plays as that without the tagging role he just gets lost and is nowhere to be seen. He got 24 possessions with a hard tag on Serong. If that is the template for the kind of performance we want from Jordon (and I don't even know it should be - it was one game; for all we know he just had a rare blinder?), then go with that exact tactic again.

That's his touches. IMO he needs to be more damaging than that regardless of defensive work. 12.5 touches per game over a 6 round period is putrid. If anyone disputes that then welcome to "the new Sydney standard" and that where we are.

Yet high possession mids are bad and possessions aren’t everything yeah okay maybe that’s why the Pies suck oh wait no they don’t or Brisbane…we have 5 middling possession mids, it’s only Gulden we have that can genuinely ball magnet. You need a range of players but low possession mids aren’t it. I mean everyone loves Rowy and I won’t bag him but he’s a 20-25 possession mid.

What have we got to lose? Let’s get him with the ball 20 plus rather than hovering around 10-13 for 6 weeks. It’s not enough for a midfielder
