I think that ticketing keeps getting more expensive and i think Membesr need to know that the Club is doing its utmost to ensure that tickets are manageable for people that want to attend.

I also think that their digital platform is only average and could be improved out of sight.
What are your thoughts on a city base?

I reckon our digital engagement is first class. What we want to be out there is readily available. If you're referring to our website, then it's a canned AFL product.

Do we have much of a say on the website. I think Telstra have a long term deal that all club websites are the same.

I think that they have to get a City base. Sooner rather than later.

I don't mind the post Game presos with players in the Magarey Room, but how good would a set up nearby be where you could have a drink, and a meal around the time of the Game?

I'd also like them to move the significant amount of memorabilia down to the City so that people can actually enjoy that. If there is no footy down at West Lakes, isn't it just gathering dust?

The other aspect of a City base is that they can actually earn some non-members cash during the week, and have that as a Crows Shop outlet.

It will be tricky finding some space really close to the AO, but there must be options.

100 times this. I have no idea why the club are so resistant to it, it is essential imo.
Even if they just buy a pub and use that, it's far better than nothing

1. Part of new casino district
2. Part of Lang Walker's office building next to the festival centre
3. Old Le Cornu site
4. Redevelopment of North Adelaide aquatic centre (although a bit far out)
5. Part of a Vic Park grandstand redevelopment which will no doubt be put back on the agenda any day now
6. Part of redeveloped Memorial Drive Indoor arena

There's 6 options that would do the trick. At least one of them would have legs.

This 1000%.
The set-up for the fan at West Lakes is terrible. Admin, Cafe and Merch Store are disjointed and location is not central, let's get a move into the Adelaide CBD going ASAP.

Unfortunately I have to live in enemy territory. Last time I was over in SA I took the kids down to footy park to visit the shop and they were intrigued by the base not being at Adelaide Oval. I remembered that members used to be able to book in for free organised tour of the club so we wandered in to the office to book in. Apparently, they ended some time ago. Kids (and me) were pretty disappointed. I'd love to be able to go the "the club" where you could grab a meal, watch away games, see some of the club's history on display.

Without out a physical home, I think memberships can sometimes make you feel a bit like you're just paying for some emails, some questionable merchandise (although this year was pretty good!) and a seat. A home needs to be both for the players, and the supporters.

I’d love to see them go the whole 9 yards and build their own SANFL ground in the city precinct. Ideally, it could be built opposite the North Adelaide swimming centre. They would build an oval with a 20,000 seat grand stand or terraces, club rooms for their teams, bars, offices, et el - the bells and whistles that the number 1 club in the state has. We must start pushing for the SANFL team to have home games and the AFLW team to have home games as well.

I think we really need to start building that holistic club feel, instead of having a bunch of teams playing as nomads and supporters wondering around aimlessly looking for a home base. This should be our 10 year plan as it would be a very expensive exercise but something we should be looking at.

ADELAIDE — unlike other AFL clubs — in the past two years has been reluctant to declare its financial position before its annual general meeting with the AFL Commission and members’ information meeting.

But Ryder, in relating a conversation he had with Crows chairman Rob Chapman, appears to have let slip the profit-and-loss statement at West Lakes during his interview with Wayne Phillips on FIVEaa last Saturday. A big profit is to be posted ... as it should considering a grand final appearance, record membership and strong attendances at Adelaide Oval.

There really wouldn't be a place that can cater for a genuine number of game day Crows fans and then make a buck during the week. And that's winter, there'd be 6 months of the year where this prime real estate would be all but vacant. The only way is if the club itself moves to the city and the indoor training venue can morph into a function centre for after games and also away games.

I don’t know about training venue, but that Lang Walker building would be perfect for the Adelaide corporate offices and a Crows Mania store and fan center.

What a joke! As if Chapman would possibly tell me the Financial results before he announced it to the Members. I am no different to anyone else.

I was relating the previous year's financial info that is on the Crows website.

Don't let the truth.......
