But before they get too excited down Alberton, they did win 7 games by less than 10 points (and only lost one game by 10 points)

We also won 7 games by over 50 points. I dont see how the amount we win by should mean we shouldnt get excited.

ok Go South, i am not a childish annoyance and like i said, i dont post on the crows board much, but sometimes i like to come over and have a say just like some of u crows supporters do over at the port board.
Ok i know that i don't have a as good of a footy brain knowledge like some other power posters on here, such as macca, dreamkillers, eago etc etc etc, but that doesn't mean that i don't know anything about footy, and everyone likes to have a say, even if they haven't got much knowledge as some others!
jesus

awww dont worry Holly - we all love ya on the Port board! :)

Wasnt this the week all you knowledgeble football people said was going to be the rematch from the last showdown?:D
Go back & see that I tipped Port in a close one (11 point margin from memory). All things being equal, I'm confident the Crows will win a Prelim against the Power, which will render the 5 wins in a row virtually meaningless (just ask Doggies & Roos fans). ;) :p :D

Is it true that as of last night that only 17,000 of the available 36,000 tickets (excludes the AAMI Stadium members) had been sold? As a Port supporter said at work today (and this bloke I have respect for rather than the majority of tools down Alberton way) it is probably because most could not afford it.

Now lets get one thing clear, Port did finish on top and to them congratulations. But before they get too excited down Alberton, they did win 7 games by less than 10 points (and only lost one game by 10 points) whilst the Lions lost two games by less than 10 points (and did not win a game by less than 10 points). Logical conclusion, if the two sides meet on Grand Final day at the "G", I know where my money will be....THE LIONS.

Personally, I reckon a Lions vs Adelaide Grand Final.

On the Official AFL site it has the amount of public tickets to all games left and currently there are!

FINALS TICKETS UPDATE

Power v Pies
17,500 public tickets still available.

Demons v Roos
34,000 public tickets left.

Lions v Crows
16,000 public tickets still available.

Bombers v Eagles
20,000 public tickets still available. AFL Reserve sold out.

Yes, one has missed the point again!!! All I was stating was that when Port is in tight ones it wins but their overall record is a little distorted by the close results. I don't think it is an unreal expectation that if a team was involved in say 6 close finishes, it would win in all probablility half to two thirds of those games, but 100%. Hm, that explains why Brisbane is still favourite for the flag..
