he has his money and his brownlows so he probably wouldn't care too much.

of course not, once he achieved the ultimate success in winning a premiership with West Coast, his priorities changed to money, and of course allowing Twiggers to get her anorexic frame all over the fashion media, etc.

Someone has to earn a crust once the bald sell-out retires in 3 years time.

We defs need more Judd threads...

Eagles fans you do realise that your club was based on "players coming home to WA" and it was even in your theme song. So its ok for WA players to want to come home but not victorians wanting to return to melbourne.

He wanted to go home, he made sure the eagles got a good deal, do you think its about time you got over it.

He will reserve his judgment but a career that has given a premiership,2 Brownlows and a side that will participate in finals for a number of years im sure he couldnt give toss.

If Judd stays then WCE never bottom out, don't get Natanui and Gaff, probably miss out on some other kids as well. So you would probably be a little worse off right now anyway

This. The Eagles would be in a far worse place if they hadn't been able to gain salary cap space and rebuild by trading Judd. I think they've benefited in a similar way in which Geelong will be able to bounce back after only a few seasons near the bottom of the table, as Ablett gives them much more room to move in their salary cap, and keep their rising stars. However, the Eagles likely did better compensation wise out of the Judd deal then Geelong did with Ablett. Really, Eagles supporters should be grateful for what they've gained from the deal, and not blindly hate the man for choosing to return home.

He's in the best city in the country, earning big bucks and has every chance to finish his career as a Premiership captain at 2 different clubs. Would you regret it?

Living the life of luxury in Melbourne..and back in his home state away from the drug culture that almost ripped a club apart....married with a new born son ..i'd say he is more than happy .
