Well there only seems to be one team playing in the Grand Final this year according to the media, but I guess training on Thursday is still required.

Speaking from experience, yes these grand final training sessions are great.
But mean * all if you don't win the game. 1997 grand final training session was great for the might saints.
Stewart Loewe, Nicky Winmar went absolutely missing when it counted.

I recall Winmar had a family death to deal with prior to and during the GF, hes gotta get some slack. Loewe had a rough day though the delivery in for most of the game was crap. Saints midfielders got blown away by the end. But the most noticable deficiency was in the coaching. Blight blitzed it. Saints were well in the game early 2nd half but the coach responded to Blights shenanigans with little. Pretty sure Beverage will be on the front foot and will try to make things happen, and will not be timid to change things up.
