Did lol. It all makes sense now
Not DMAA.

GHRP-6.

Bit of talk that peptides are legal but if something is being injected regardless of what it is then it is illegal.

Will be interesting to see how many other clubs end up being caught, I strongly doubt that it would only be one club.

McVeigh - Channel 9 regular in 2013....
You should be asking why didn't your captain/ players open their mouths, rather than leave it until others pressed so hard they had to call an investigation
Is this common knowledge or just a guess? Pretty serious issue for be just chucking names out there if that's the case

TBH it seems more likely they are going public because the HS found out about it which makes it look pretty bad
A possibility, but Evans sounded like he was genuinely just finding out about everything. Hird...not so much.

I want to know who the hell is this "former" player who has opened their mouth about this and why he was contacted about it. Puts himself in a bad position as well as all of his teammates who signed this "form"
Really? Thats what you want to know? The club should be protecting it's players, not juicing them up. It shouldn't be a witch hunt for the ex player, they need to weed out ANYONE who knew anything about this and the potential damage it could do to our players. It's a disgrace if these allegations are true and those involved need to be sacked asap.

Hmmm, I'm glad I haven't subscribed to Foxtel on T-box for this season as yet.

I just hope that the investigation happens quickly, regardless of the determination. If there's pain to suffer, let us know now.

Did you mis-read his post? He didn't say it was illegal.

Massively increasing your training load whilst taking creatine is fraught with danger.
Did you misread the context of his post. We're talking about players taking supplements which are questionably legal. Bringing up creatine implies he thinks it may be.

Nobody likes a rat though

You are taking this far too seriously. they've already sacked the 1 bad seed. all this was was match recovery supplements. dissapointing yes but for your own sake and so you don't look like a complete dick, no need to make it out far worse than it really is.

I'm aware that I'm not an expert on this stuff and I don't profess to know what is illegal and what isn't.

I'd just heard that similar supplements can bulk up the muscle but not provide the underlying support needed so can lead to muscle/tendon issues. Extra strength without the body stability to support it.

Am I the only one that isn't actually worried?

No, I'm pretty chill. Either it's banned in which case we'd have heard about it or it's not in which case **** off, #whateverittakes

Hope the club goes hardline to anyone who knew or should have known ( or turned a blind eye). This club has been too soft on events which have tarnished the brand of the Essendon Football Club (e.g. betting scandal).

Exactly.

I'm still not 100% across what's going on, but it sounds like Hird knew what was going on and that concerns me.

Did you not listen to what Hird said at all? he stated very clearly that from what he knew, whatever the players were taking, he thought they were all legal. So the sports scientist guru was clearly going behind the clubs back without the coaching group knowing what was really happening.

Yep, getting players to sign waivers over the drugs they are getting injected is nothing to worry about. Sure no one except for this one fitness guy knew about it.
