Go for your life....

EPL Winner: Chelsea

Top 6:

Chelsea
Man Utd
Liverpool
Tottenham
Arsenal
Newcastle

Relegation:

Wigan
Birmingham
Derby

Top Scorer: Berbatov

Player of the Year: Michael Essien

Young Player of the Year: C.Ronaldo

Surprise of the Year: Sunderland (if they get Gordan and Baines)

add in whatever you want....

This will change as signings come,

Champions - Chelsea (easily) way too much class. more depth this season, likely less injuries. they'll win by 10+ points. (i'll probably take anybody on for $10 on this one if they'd like - note probably, give me a week to think about it) :p

Runners up - Liverpool - Excellent manager, tactically strong. Defensively excellent, arguably superior to Chelsea in said regard. Good signings, excellent central midfield, more options. Watch out!

Third the one with the hairy chest - Manchester United - More options this year but Carrick remains Carrhack and Owen H is a dud x 2 = 69 and 1.
Tevez? Will be excellent. Too similar to Rooney. Rooney, Saha, Tevez, Smith, Rossi.... Boring.... Similar, Similar, Similar. Marcia, Marcia, Marcia.
Scholes? The Manchester United fans will tell us how good he is again next season with his terrible tackling, limited influence, goals and assists. So, so good though. Rio? Named after underwear. Hilariously overrated by Manchester United fans. Many actually think he's the best defender in the premiership. :D Morons! Goalkeeper? Suspect. Wide positions both in defence and attack are better than anywhere. I like Anderson, the more he plays the > their chance of repeating the fortunate success of last season.

Fourth the Golden Eagle - Arsenal - Could change though. What more buys will Tottenham make?

Relegation? hahalol.

Wayne Carey - Birmingham - 'oh, we have a new rich owner guy who'll buy our club. watch out for us! we belong in the PL.' ahh no you don't. you're no Shane and Angel from Home + Away circa 1994.

+1 - Wigan 'Not so' Athletic - Heskey and Harewood were almost together. Diddums. Still, they're crap. Overrated full back Leightion McBaines won't save them. ****! Not even 'Newmie' from Baywatch could save them from certain relegation. Could easily finish Rock Bottom.

Rock Bottom - Derby County - Nothing side. Only exciting thing in their history was when Ravanelli scored once every ten weeks. I actually think that hack Malcolm Christie is their greatest ever player. Have they bought anybody? Carl Veart? Ross Aloisi?

Note - I will finish my list of 20 and update in the coming days. Also as with signings and opinion the list will change. Stay tuned!

I'll do mine in a second but define 'surprise'.

Even if Sunderland get Gordon (who is exceptional) and Baines (who is decent) they still have no attacking quality and will battle in the bottom half.

Absolutely no chance of a top 10 finish.

They're a small club and always will be.

Ummm, let's say the club that finishes highest above their expected finish....

I think most will expect Sunderland will get relegated quite easily, them not getting relegated would prob be a surprise....

Newcastle another surprise IMO

They're spending a bit so I don't reckon most will have them as relegation candidates. Least of who Manchester United fans, for sickly, childish reasons.

From what I've heard (my sources) their previous style of football (last season) would easily get them relegated in the premiership.

So,

a) change the style
b) better players

and > 15th is possible. :thumbsu:

I don't really care for Sunderland. Shit players, big, empty stadium. Boring, seen too often strip.

One Geordie team is more than enough. And besides, Big Sam eats Weet-Bix the size of 'Keano' for breakfast. Two derby thrashings there will be.

Agree Chelsea will prob be too strong this season.

Happy to bet whatever amount you want that Man Utd will finish above Liverpool though.

EPL Winner: Chelsea - Just too strong all over, can be beaten, but it will take an exceptional performance for another team to topple them.

Runner up: Man Utd - Great man-manager in charge, the only threat to their 2nd placed finish will be Liverpool.

Rest of the top six: Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham and one of: Newcastle, West Ham, Portsmouth, Everton

Relegation: Wigan, Brum, Fulham/Derby

Surprise: West Ham

Yep, Freddie v Jason has the force.

West Ham will surprise the day I wear briefs.

Signings?

Bellamy - Serial reject. Turned down by as many clubs as Lowie01 has been with women. (the '01' is his current count, at 40 years of age, not a bad tally)

To Bellamy's credit, he doesn't get the "leave me alone you ****ing weirdo and stop following me" line. Which is more than I can say for some....

(I don't know why I'm going off on the dirt-track but) to steal from Conan,

Lowie has just broken Max Weinberg's record of appearances on "Datelines: To Catch a Predator"

(sorry Lowie)

Villa behind Everton? give me a break. maybe in a male mexican orgy but certainly not on the PL table. they have Phil Neville. they have Phil Neville. (said twice for effect)
Villa > Irrelevant Everton

Portsmouth? yeah, lets ring a ****ing Bell. About as successful as Freo as well. The best looking crowd in football though. (note - not serious)

The best thing about being so crap last season is that there isn't that far you can slide. I think you need to look elsewhere, 17th would only be one position lower than last year.

i rekon malouda will be the best buy in the EPL (not as good as our buys tho:p)... really impressive so far all be it a pre-season tour..
