I got a legendary walking cane last night. Pretty special moment, what with my strength being 1 and all.

Upped the difficulty to hard last night and was enjoying it. Pistols are a bit OP on normal, on hard they are basically useless (without modding the shit out of them) against stronger enemies, which I enjoyed far more. Having to use stealth more and cover, as well as saving your critical and conserving AP for the strongest opponent in the area/fight. I'll see how I go tonight but might go to very hard.

Having a tough time with ammo, don't have the scrounger perk though. I like that there's not much ammo laying around, adds to the emersion. Up to level 15/16 and just got to diamond city, about 25 hours in (only bought it on Friday). Loving it

What "underclothes" are people rocking?

Seen heaps of people in vids still running around in the vault suit, which seems a bit odd. I tend to prefer wearing stuff with buffs attached, and rely on the arm/leg/head/chest gear for defence.

Currently rocking the Army Fatigues. No damage/energy/rad resistance but +1 strength and agility.

Clean striped suit with +2 charisma when in non combat. helps with speech, plus look pimp. Add patrolman shades for extra pimp

I'm pretty vanilla at the moment. Minuteman outfit with modded light combat armor and a couple other pieces with cool perks and stat boosts on them. Then just an army helmet with black rimmed glasses

Not plot related, just about an enemy in a location for a side quest. Level 16 so a bit in.

Anyone been to Trinity tower? How brutal is that mutant with the mini gun!? He's tearing me up on hard

I haven't found anything better so I'm still on the vault 111 suit. In fact I have barely found any decent armour at all. My apparel is 57 for normal weapons and 41 for energy. 25 radiation resistant.

How the fook are people at level 29!!!??? I am at 11 still and have spent ages just exploring/building settlements.
I'm level 16. I could be higher, I spent about 6 hours on Sunday building a settlement at the drive in and then scrapped it and rebuild because I didn't like the way it looked.

Makes a huge difference to use foundations so the buildings don't sit up in the air.

So am I doing the right thing with scrapping anything I don't need like guns and junk or you actually get a decent price for them from someone??
I scrap any decent armour or weapons. Put on my clothes that give me level 10 charm first makes a huge difference. I compared charming gear sell price vs power armour sell price for a pistol and the difference was 150 caps. Actually in any settlement I wont engage in conversation until my charm gear is on. Would be nice if you could save sets for quick exgchanging. I find myself opening up pipboy quite a lot.

Won't be able to play fallout 4 until Saturday night now :( On level 21 and just completed a lengthy quest with Detective Valentine. I swear every time I level up i spend about 20 mins deciding where to use my perk point

1st character I got to lv9 and scraped it, 2nd to lv25 before the realization came that I hate settlement building and had wasted a few points on perks so I scraped that one to.
Now my 3rd character (lady this time) is at level 17 and kicking along, I had few commitments this week lol.

Hang on Rich, are you telling me I'm building my settlement wrong?

This. Most difficult decisions of the game haha.

Make sure you check out the stat buff items. The protection you get from a vault suit is bugger all, just some energy and rad resistance. Better off with the stat.

I'm scrapping most stuff with the perk that gives you more screws etc. The caps you get for selling it is basically nothing
