I dig non automatic rifles, I think mines at about 60% now for rifleman.
I chose pistols early on which I'm still alright with as I enjoy using pistols as long as its powerful enough.
Got so many good laser weps lately though..
Yeah running with pistols, non auto rifles, and sometimes pull out the advanced shotty.

Have 3 pretty deadly pistols, best does 123 damage. But also have a 10mm explosive pistol that rips through weaker opponents.

Kellogg's pistol does 211 damage for me now. Bang!
Nice, only 2 points on gunslinger so I'll prob chuck another in there soon. Haven't modded kellogs or the random 123 dmg one, so I'll check that out soon.

The advanced receiver really makes that pistol tank. You need to have Gun Nut up pretty high to add it though. I was lucky in that I found another similar revolver that already had the receiver on it so I made the swap.

I guess there is only really one way to know for sure but I currently have upped a bunch of perks related to sneak attacks. Now when I hit with a sneak attack (with a silenced weapon) I do 3x normal damage. There's a perk under agility with gives ranged sneak attacks 2.5x normal damage. How will this apply to me when I add it. Will I do 7x damage? Or will it be 2.5x + 3x for a total of 5.5 times? Will probably do it either way, but I really need to think through my perks a bit more now as it's getting much harder to level up.

EDIT: Turns out it only takes it up to 3.8x damage

The Children of Atom Gamma gun is pretty good against raiders
My collection of useless melee bullshit I'll never use that I get from legendary enemies. Spoilers for size.

Can't leave home without my trusty rolling pin or plank of wood. I also have about 4 different machetes that I couldn't be bothered screenshotting.

I really want this.
The unique Gamma gun is nice as well

I haven't gone too deep into the quests yet, I got side tracked building my settlements
Only happy with how Sanctuary & Hangmans Alley look

wish that I could test out the defense of Sanctuary, have 6 missile turrets all aimed at the bridge

Same as me, The non auto rifles are mad strong (I'm up to the 60% in the perk too). Good at medium-long distance and packs a punch (esp. my 5.56mm Assault Rifle) up close.

I went with pistols. Some really powerful ones out there especially if you upgrade them.

Yeah I have a .50 cal Gainer handgun. Packs a punch but the fire rate is a bit meh so don't use it as often. Can't go past my trusty 10mm though :)

Level 69. Giggity.

69?! Jeez I just hit 30. Have you been levelling from quests or exploring... have you had a break yet? :P

I thing I like about this game at the moment is the fact that I can never not find nothing to do. There is either settlements to build/change, places to explore, side quests to do and other goodies. I've done maybe 3 main quests. I'm level 30 and had a blast.

What's everyone's main town? Mine was originally Sanctuary but I've since moved to The Castle (although I have left Sanctuary as I had it, walled in and secure), much easier to set up a choke point and I've even created a bar that overlooks the ocean behind. Will work on creating a proper house/shelter as I currently just have the beds in random sections of the castle. I have 17 settlers (can't assign any more) plenty of water/food. I've got all the stores available (but not all the best stores) and my defence is up to 115.

I've got 13 settlers each at Sanctuary and the drive in but am searching for somewhere else to build my main base.

Sanctuary in just cleaned up all the scrap, built a couple of prefabs and put enough gun turrets around to maintain defence and enough beds food and water to maintain happiness.

Similar at the drive in but built a big single storey bunkhouse between the water and the tall building.

I think I definitely need somewhere by the sea as my main base. I haven't done the castle yet but think it's about time. I'm L21.

Wouldn't even bother with damn building shit if it wasn't for the trophy. As soon as I get 100% happiness I'm done with the crap. If I wanted to play the Sims i'd buy the Sims.

Going by the posts of ps trophies forums to get that you're going to have to load up on level 3 clinics and go AFK while chilling in your settlement for a couple of hours since apparently it won't get to 100% while you're out.

The other handy thing about settlements is the notifications you get that one is under attack counts as a miscellaneous objective towards your 50 for the trophy. :thumbsu:
