Understand, but I don't imagine that Kayo throw much PAFC's way though however. Overseas, the app works brilliantly. Shame I haven't been, nor expect to get there again, any time soon.
Kayo currently showing the 2004 GF and the 2007 PF v WCE.
All the games for the season stay up.

Well that sucks

I have a work phone that's with Telstra so got Live Pass
So that's now going
What info do they ask for if you sign up to the $5 plan - just a phone number ?

Cant get Kayo on my LG Smart TV without forking out for a Chromecast

Limiting to just Samsung TVs is stupid
Netfix etc, are supported by all platforms

Make it easy !

yeah foxtel don't make it easy to watch there apps. Foxtel now kayo and binge not available on ps5 is a joke

Tried kayo but doesn't connect with my LG tv I'll have to buy a chrome cast fox is just easier for me lol

Yes, you need a third-party device for LG tv's. I already had Apple TV and it has Kayo in the App Store, which works perfectly.
Don't have it on the foxtel now boxes though. Like I said foxtel like to make it difficult to watch there services.

I know a lot of people have issues casting Foxtel Go but it works perfectly on my Android TV Sony Bravia.

I'd still probably watch games on 7 though unless the commentary team was particularly bad.

Does 7Plus show the men's AFL games?

I got rid of Foxtel a while back and replaced it with a Digital TV antenna in the loungeroom but google TV (i.e. 7plus) in the mancave.
I'm assuming it won't work on the second TV.

Are all our games on 7?
In SA yes, 19 will be live and 3 Fox Footy produced games will be on a 3 hour delay.

Outside SA only about 4 or 5 games will be on 7.

I got a cheap Telstra TV with my points, all the streaming apps built in, as well as FTA, so can use it with a dumb TV or any screen. Kayo at $5 a month as an ex-live pass user is the go this year.

Also, as others have said, it's HD whereas 7 is still potatovision. The commentary is just as bad though and you have to cope with Ricciuto on all SA home games.

I ended up weakening and buying Kayo for $15/month.

Enjoyed Reiwoldt/Dunstall commentating yesterday and for a non-port game it was genuinely watchable, if that is what footy is like this year I'll watch more than just Port.

I still don't want pooshooter doing our games though, its a clear conflict of interest, fire him and has gravelly dumbarse voice into the sun and get us a Port boundary rider.

Telstra gave gold point members a free Telstra tv...now the app is gone in favour of kayo, I can watch that when ch 7 hasn’t got my game on.

So I’ve taken up Telstra on the covid offer to suspend full Foxtel for 12 months, see how I go. If I’m stuck, I’ll go to Foxtel now basic month to month which has the channels I like not spread across packs.

Or I may go a specialist streaming this a UK one.

I am wondering though, afl/ Foxtel stopping the app - is the flow on people stopping full Foxtel in their droves?
