Really proud of the team tonight. Played with the composure and commitment that we saw in the 1st half of the season. Were considered no chance before the game, Tigers would’ve been shitting themselves at half time though. Just out run in the end. The week off helped the tigers as I thought . Blew their chance and we were dominated for more than a quarter in all 3 finals. Too many out the back goals. Martin alone, Lynch alone- effin terrible!

The 1st half goals came from forward pressure from smaller players. You will not get far expecting to win without a winning KPF. Richmond had one in Lynch. We did not.

Parfitt IS slow - thats just who he is.. His strength is his close work but he hasn't quite 'clicked' yet.

Parfiit is not slow - he does think rather than play. Simpson in the VFL is the same way. Thinks thru what he should do rather than act instinctively.

And then looks slow as a result of it.

But yes.. he got caught because of it. Tigers play on instinct - we play on a plan and under pressure the time to think about the plan is not there and yuo see what you did in the second half
