The fact that you believe that the senior coach who is responsible for our performances as a club has no say on draft selection reveals you are on display yourself as one of those people.

I guess you also believe that if the midfield gets beaten in a game he isn't responsible since he isn't the midfield coach?

Personally think both Simpson and Graham have to go. Graham isn't a coaches arsehole (even though he's a lovely guy, really one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet) and Simpson can't seem to stop the easy goals out the back. It's either easy out the back for a goal or for a 1 vs 1.

The point being that the structures up the field are the problem, which is coaching. There shouldnt have been all the 1 on 1's to buddy. That's poor coaching not the players fault. It's like letting a player get 50 possessions or woosha going for a semi tag on Harvey only for him to have 40+ and tear us to shreds.

It's not what happens but the reason it happens that is the issue.

Think you need to educate yourself a bit I think - the Head Coach has a wish list for sure and let's it be known but from my understanding as previously mentioned in other posts it is the recruitment/List Management staff who make the decisions regarding the recruiting! Otherwise why have recruiting staff - just let the Head Coach do everything!

Simmo deserves some credit for turning around the 30 + pt deficit and making a game of it ..At one stage I thought we were going to win and even though we lost there were some good signs that wce will not fall as hard as some media or B/f fans were predicting..

I have said previously Simpsons had this side 5 years. Long enough to recruit the players he wants and have the group playing how he wants.
It's on Simpson now. Honeymoon is over.

Simmo definitely has a say in who gets drafted. If you watch a replay of last years draft carefully you will see he often gives ye final nod of approval. Apparently Oscar Allen will become a mid though ...

Favourites? Masten was in and out of the side last year and Nelson only got picked because Cole was unavailable.

if he was not so much of a favourite why did he not get cut last season.

Yep and his 2011 salary had to fit into the 2010 cap after he got delisted early. Pretty unlikely we would've been able to fit two years of Masten's salary into last year's cap.
