4. Fave Crows player...McLeod, Burton (although needed a kick up the arse this year until last week), Hart, Johnson, Stevens, Smart, Bassett, Welsh, Bickley, & the names continue. Fave new players ... Doughty & Johncock (very exciting prospects). Fave ex-players ... D Jarman & Modra.
5. Fave all time Crows game... Probably the '98 GF over the '97 GF with Benny Hart's 1st half efforts. Also, the '97 Prelim against the Bullies was a defining moment (Johnson plays on to Jarman ...).
6. How many games this year... 1 Wizard cup game and all home games (unfortunately going to miss my 2nd home game in 6 years, due to a family engagement).
7. Reason for following the the Crows... Hard to say in a few words. Being following them since day one & love their exciting brand of footy (well apart from the Shaw years). Certainly make my week when they win, but I believe I get a bit ****ty when they lose. Fortunately all the guys in my office support the Crows, so it make for great footy environment all week (although my female Director hates football & when once asked by referee for my weaknesses, she said at 1st I didn't have any, but then said hold on - he's talks too much about football & the Crows).

5. Fave all time Crows game - Apart from the 97/98 finals series, it'd be the game against Richmond in 1997 when we absolutely thrashed them, and Wallsy got the sack the same week.
6. How many games have you been to this year? All home games
7. Reason for following Crows - Originally Modra

Fave old player - Rehn, Jarman D Modra and John Klug

5. Fave all time Crows game - Finals would be 97 Prelim Final - 11 of us went to Melbourne in a three car convoy. What a finish!

Minor Round - game against Fitzroy when Mods kicked theree in time on in third quarter and we ended winning by one point. There were three seperate waves going at 3 qtr time.

Also Showdown 2 when McLeod Bond and Vardy stole the game in the last 5 minutes. I have never heard the Crows crowd go of as much and it was an away game.

6. How many games have you been to this year? All home games plus one Wizard Cup, plus one Port Wizard Cup.

7. Reason for following Crows - Loved the SANFL and when they came in followed with a passion.

7. Reason for following Crows - After following the SANFL for so long it seemed like the perfect thing, an Adelaide AFL team to watch.

7. Reason for following Crows - Started in 1991 after following Glenelg all my life.

5. Fave all time Crows game - 97 Prelim and last year V Richmond at the 'G'. Last time I saw them live actually.

6. How many games have you been to this year? None. When I get down to Adelaide I go and see Sturt. May go to the Geelong game at Baytec and maybe one or 2 others in Melbourne.

7. Reason for following Crows - State loyalty. Never had any real AFL interest until the Crows.

7. Reason for following Crows - Bit long this. Originally followed Port in SANFL (don't stone me yet!!). Lost faith in SANFL/AFL when Port were disallowed into AFL back in 1989 or 90. Went to live in Melbourne in 1994. Everyone wanted to know who I supported, so I said "the Crows". Started watching and going to the games. Got HOOKED when watching a Crows/Hawthorn game in 95 when the Crows came back from about 40 points down at half time to win! Andrew Jarman played a blinder and a little known kid named McLeod kicked three and won my footy heart forever!

Well Alli, we have met in person so you know me already but for those of you who I haven't had the pleasure yet....here goes.

Age - No secret anymore...........equivilent to D Schell (27)

Fav Player - Um let me think...............MARK STEVENS!!!!!!!!!!

Fav Past Player - The Doc - Matty Liptak..........memories!!!!

Fav Game - Every AFC game! No really! the 97 GF - violently ill with nerves. 98 GF - I cried from the first bounce to the final siren and beyond. I don't handle stress very well! But they would be my Fav games.

Games been to this year - I am a MAD crows supporter and I swear I am not lying here - Alli will vouch for me - out of all the games played in 2002 (14 including wizard cup and trial) I have been to 9 games! All the home games + wizard cup games, wizard cup semi-final in melbourne + Rnd1 v Bulldogs + Rnd 6 v Richmond. I am also going to Sydney in August and of course the ferals Showdown later in the year. I love my boys!!!

Reasons for following Crows - SANFL follower for years pre Crows, when they came in I jumped on board and haven't looked back. I have been a season ticket holder since day 1 and will be forever!

Thanks to everyone who has replied. It's good to learn a bit about everyone and why the Adelaide Crows are their all time favourite team.
It's also interesting that mostly everyone who posts on here is South Australian. It's hard being part of a minority here in Vic but it's great to get the goss from all you very knowledgable South Aussies!

7. Reason for following Crows - Went out and got a seasons ticket the week after the 1st game v Hawks - just great to be involved in AFL and have pride in the state etc etc.

7. Reason for following Crows - Being a new comer to the state ( I arrived in 1988), the whole Port/AFL drama was very interesting, and got me interested in SA footy. My Aunt picked up on this and totally suprised me by buying season's tickets for myself and my Uncle for the Crows 91 season for Christmas in 1990.
