Fisher is under contract at the Blues but has played just 12 games in 2023 and is understood to be searching for more senior opportunities.
CATS’ INTEREST IN O’BRIEN
Geelong has interest in former Hawk and Bulldog Tim O’Brien, according to SEN’s Sam Edmund.
O’Brien was last month delisted by the Bulldogs after crossing over from the Hawks as a free agent on a two-year deal.
And the 29-year old, who played 115 AFL games and was hampered by injury during his time at Whitten Oval, is now in Geelong’s sights.
“Geelong have picked up the phone and expressed an interest in Tim O’Brien as a delisted free agent,” Edmund said.
“Geelong have some level of interest given they’re going to lose Esava Ratugolea and their defenders are getting a bit older. Maybe an insurance policy of sorts.”

And a good 20m sprintIm just not sure caddy is quite as athletic as curnow and undersized kpfs by and large (though there are rare exceptions) from juniors tend to be busts unless they have the athletic ability to make up for the lack of height. Caddys decent time trial is a start but id want to see good vertical leap and agility results before i took a risk on him.
Why on earth would we NOT be interested in Duursma?Would we? If we had interest in Duursma it would be out there already I reckon.
Why on earth would we NOT be interested in Duursma?
I think they may be trying to downplay it while Port are "scavenging" for Sav.
No way Port will bring in Sav , Zerk and Sweet with their picks without trading players. Hopefully this leads to a good opportunity for us....

Why on earth would we NOT be interested in Duursma?

O’Driscoll should be looked at. He performed and looked lively in the WA colts GF. Good acceleration. Anyone have his height measurement?
Aiden is 175cm

Aiden O'Driscoll Draft Profile
Perth's Aiden O'Driscoll will hope to join siblings Emma and Nathan at the top level, proving himself as a hard working wingman.central.rookieme.com
Just have to lookLooking at what GC has been offered for 4 ...only 3 picks later... I think want a good deal to trade out p7. I don't see anything West Coast or Carlton have (atm) that would tempt me. It may change if Wc reap a pirates loot if they trade p1 to North.

CATS' PICK BEING EYED OFF
CLUBS are tossing up ways they can move higher up the draft order over the next month, with Geelong's pick No.7 the next selection to be viewed by rival teams as a potential landing spot.
A handful of teams including Carlton and West Coast are among those with interest in getting higher up the draft order, having made enquiries with clubs about what it would take to shift into a better position. Melbourne, which holds picks 13 and 23, could also be another contender to shift up the board, as may North Melbourne given its suite of selections.
Geelong is viewed as a candidate to potentially trade back, or trade into the future, with clubs eyeing off its No.7 selection as a trade target.
Cats football boss Andrew Mackie recently told AFL.com.au's trade and draft show Gettable that the club would put its top-10 pick on the table for the right package during the upcoming trade window.

Can be signed any time in the next year, you know, during their contract termContract extensions…..
You could have said that about most Port players in that final, including those in Robbo's top 20, and we have said that about multiple Cats in the past, which was rectified in 22.Because he’s just not that good? The Bris final showcased his inadequacies perfectly.
WALSH- that would be the huge, equivalent to Ottens, Danger or JC on a needs basis.Just have to look
Makes the conversation short
But no point wasting time
Carlton - walsh
West coast - future first and 20

One final does not tarnish him indefinitely in my eyes.
Young player that needs lots of MF time.
What Would you prefer for Sav?
I'm not against him, but I think year of the cat is right, there are better options. You could have said that about most Port players in that final, including those in Robbo's top 20, and we have said that about multiple Cats in the past, which was rectified in 22.
