At Richmond Goddard would be better suited.

However, Wells and Tambling wouldn't be bad to watch.

Wells is the better footballer. Both are superstars but Wells has more promise i think.

Is that a unbias opinion mate?? what about Riewoldt or Wells??

I think that both will turn out to be guns. I voted for wells for obvious reasons, i think that because he is in a side was in the bottom half last year he performed admirably and goddard was in a side right up there were it is easier to get high possies. Goddard with his extra weight now might step up a level though but i'll take wellsy at the moment

At the moment Wells is a little in front in terms of match time and contribution, but Goddard is shaping up nicely too.

Either would be good, but happy with Goddard at this stage.

Saints are happy with Goddard, Roos with Wells. The Blues are, well...blue.

Yet they are polshing trophies while you are shoving spoons up your ass.

You and your mates over at Craptar$e oval can sit there polishing away, dreaming of past glories. The Saints will make the future theirs, arsewipe. ;)

Seeing is believing garth. It's good that you're full of confidence for your Saints, but I wouldn't be too cocky. It will take some work to make up the 15 premiership gap between the 2 clubs. My bet is you won't be alive to see it happen (if it ever does).

I don't think any of us will be. But things have a habit of evening out. By the turn of the next century, the gap might well be in the Saints favour. Well, I am hoping it is anyway. One thing that is pretty certain however is that neither Carlton or Richmond will be adding to their totals in the immediate future.

Can you say the same thing about the Saints. No, not if you are being honest with yourself. :D

And how long is the "immediate future", two, three years? Do you remember the Saints three years ago? case closed!

Goddard will be better than Wells in the long run, with Wells better ATM.

Anyone who believes that Wells will be ahead of Goddard in 2 to 3 years knows nothing about football.

Goddard and Ball (tough in and under midfielders with tremendous skill) > Wells and Judd (both flash in the pan recievers)

Immediate future is two to three years, so yes you are correct. Carlton is about as good now as the Saints were in 2001, except we had a whole list of exciting young players while you have got a whole bunch of recycled hacks.

Case reopened.

To say that Wells and Judd are flash in the pan receivers when they're better footballers than Goddard and Ball is pretty funny. One just won a brownlow at 21 and the other's just kicked the freakiest goal of the year you'll ever see after jumping the pack, grabbing the ball and kicking in midair.

Really ??

So young Goddard & Wells are now so revered that they are considered to be in the same league as players like Malcolm Blight, Polly Farmer, Gary Ablett, Leigh Mathews etc even though they have only played for two seasons.

They would have been by you bunch of Blue cheating scum if you hadn't been caught.

Just like the two Irish gits who haven't played a single game are being touted as the new Barrassi and Whitten

Just out of interest could you name the "plenty more" 19 year olds that are better.
Andrew Walker will be better than Goddard as he is a ballwinner and a genuine in and under player. And guess what? He's only 18 years of age after playing 15 games in his 1st year and won brownlow votes in his first game after lining up on one C.Judd.

Judd, while a very good player is a receiver, nothing wrong with that, not everyone can be an in and under type. Can also be shut down down by a good tagger when his midfield is getting caned. Baker shuts him down pretty easily cause he wont go and get the ball, wait until it is taken out of the centre by Cousins, Judd and Chick.

Just because Wells kicked a flukey goal doesn't make him a tough in an under player either. Quick, flashy, but soft as butter.

I rest my case.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Our tagger beats Judd, and you reckon Walker will be better than Goddard.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

GOLD :D :D

That isn't the argument and no one is touting the O'Hailpins' as the next Barrassi and Whitten. Though Setanta will be better than Brooks who was relegated to VFL reserves and only injury held Setanta back from his debut. Which even though Brooks is a footballer hasn't had yet.
BTW how are those aboriginal gits the clarkes going? Do they still need the runner show to Xavier and Raphael where to run as flash in the pan receivers?

Thats right Einstein a full knee reco isn't an injury. You complete moron.

Oh and BTW you utter imbicile Brooks has made his senior debut, just before he did his knee.

Do you know anything about the subjects you speak about? Sheesh

Racist.

X needs to improve a bit and Raph has played one game. Your knowledge knows no bounds.

Complete and utter moron.
